Q: Tell us about your college career and what the recruiting process was like. Why did you choose _____________ (list your school)?

A: The funny thing about my recruiting process was I complained and worried a lot in the beginning because I had no offers. By the time signing day came around I was really stressed out by all of the different schools I had to chose from. I chose to transfer to William Jewell because I wanted to be a part of change for a school that had been struggling.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: I pride myself on making it out of the “juco struggle”. The California Juco route can be tough but I worked hard and stayed patient. Playing the game of football is the fun and easy part, dealing with the politics of it is the hard part.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at_____________ ( list your school)?

A: One of the most important things I learned at William Jewell is to live in the moment and be appreciative. I learned to have fun and to not take anything for granted. I also learned to make the best of every situation and control what I can control.

Q: What was your major and what are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A: My major is Public Relations. If football doesn’t work out for me I plan on working to help troubled Juveniles receive the proper resources needed to excel in life.

Q: What would your current/past teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: I think my teammates would say I’m not the type of person to shy away from any task or challenge. I think they would say I work hard, and am very vocal. I think they would also say I’m always one of the goofiest people around.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career at any level?

A: One of the plays that come to mind is when we played Southwest Baptist University on homecoming, we’re up by 4 with a minuet or so left and SBU goes for it on 4th down. I come up with the sack to seal the deal.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: The biggest challenge I faced and still face is working hard towards something I cant see. Just like faith, sometimes its hard believing in something you cant see. The next step isn’t always promised so managing to work hard like it is promised is probably the biggest challenge.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A: If I had to compare myself to a pro athlete I think Im something like Patrick Beverly. Pat Bev has always been underrated and slept on. Regardless of what people say about Pat Bev, he continues to be him. He’s scrappy and brings a hungry, dog mentality to the table. I think I’m the same way. I could careless what the doubters say, what the opponent says because at the end of the day you have to see me and show me.

Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?

A: I think my biggest strength is the ability to adapt to any environment, defense, workplace, etc. I’m like a sponge when it comes to learning new things.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?

A: I do not currently participate in anything like this but when I’m done with school, I plan on making this part of my profession.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 National Scouting Combine and what are your goals?

A: I’m working everyday. Multiple times a day. My goals are to be the best me. I’m not focusing on running any certain time etc compared to anybody else. I just want to give it everything I have and be happy knowing I worked hard, showed it, and didn’t leave anything behind.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A: As of now my biggest achievement is making as far as I have. If you would’ve asked me 5 years ago what I’d be doing right now, I couldn’t tell you. I’m really proud of who I’ve become over the years. Football has really put me on a good path and allowed me to build relationships with some really good people. A lot of people don’t make it this far where I’m from, but I did, and that something to be proud of.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football?

A: If it’s not related to football, I’m either playing 2k on my xbox or spending time with my family when I can, especially my mom. Gotta shoutout my mom, I know she’ll probably post this all over Facebook.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: I don’t really lean on any certain person for influencing my actions in life but I do lean on God for everything I do.

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

A: Everything about me is unique. One of the most is I’m God fearing.
