Q: Tell us about your college career and what the recruiting process was like. Why did you choose Shippensburg? (list your school)?

A: Coming out of high school I truly wanted to play at the highest level. I had an incredible senior year and I had walk on opportunities to play Division 1, but Shippensburg was there from the beginning and I took my visit and loved it. Not too big, not too small, quality education, nice campus and excellent football. There were many great professional athletes that came out of division 2 and 3 so I knew that it could be done and it was on me to put the work in and buy in to the process. I was a 4 year starter and captain my senior year and put together a great career resume.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: Making it to this point in my entire career and also being selected as a team captain. It’s not all about the statistics and the awards.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at__Shippensburg_ ( list your school)

A: This is more than a game we play. This game teaches so many valuable traits and habits that are engrained in us and carry us throughout our careers and lives. Always have your brothers back and you have to put in the blood, sweat and tears to get to where you wish to be.

Q: What was your major and what are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A: I majored in marketing and down the road after football I plan on establishing myself in the business world and working my way up and possibly even starting my own business.

Q: What would your current/past teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: They would say I am a strong, passionate, hardworking and charismatic leader that prepares, practices and plays with heart and determination. Someone who puts the team before themselves, but maximizes every opportunity and has the will to prepare to win.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career at any level?

A: My first career touchdown my freshman year. It was a deep post and I had to come back for the ball and the safety pretty much wrapped his arms around my neck. It was a called PI and I actually caught it with one hand and was in for the touchdown.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: Coming from a small town, small high school and division 2 college. I know not a lot of people believe that it can be done, but it motivates me that I have made it this far and have learned so much along the way.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A: Adam Thielen because he is a grinder from division 2 who is a guy who makes plays and comes up with contested catches time and time again. He is a relentless player who is all over the field blocking, catching and involved in every play.

Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?

A: My leadership ability along with my work ethic and will to prepare to win in any situation. Pro scouts should consider me because I will always be prepared mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually for the opportunity. At this level everyone needs to be a certain speed, strength, height, weight or have a special it factor. I believe it’s a having a sharp mental game along with extreme preparation for the task at hand that separates who makes it and who doesn’t.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?

A: In school we had Ship shape day where we would clean up our town and community. We had ice fest where we would participate in games with the youth and help out with the festival. We also assisted on freshman move in day by helping families move their son/daughter into their dorm.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 National Scouting Combine and what are your goals?

A: I have been training at TEST football academy since January and I can’t thank them enough. I have completely transformed in my time here and my goals are to PR in all of the events and to show that I belong at the highest level.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A: My ultimate achievement would to sign an NFL contract and fulfill my dreams of playing football at the highest level. Being able to use my platform to help out my family and people that need it and to give back to the world.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football?

A: Relaxing, hanging out with friends and exercising.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: There have been many, but I would say my grandfather. He showed me what hard work is and was a true example of an incredible person.

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

A: I do a lot of reading and journaling
