Q: Tell us about your college career and what the recruiting process was like. Why did you choose Lakeland?

A: Since arriving at Lakeland University I have contributed to and won two conference championships, I have lead my team to two consecutive playoff apperences, and have obtained a cumulative GPA of 3.6 throughout all four years of my college career. Coming out of High School I had five scholarship offers from different schools. I chose Lakeland University because it was an established winning program that provided a great quality education for its students. Along with Lakeland providing a great education it was attracting many NFL scouts to attend practices and games which are all reasons why I ultimately chose Lakeland University.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: My biggest accomplishment in my sports career so far would be winning two conference championships and being selected to play in the Podyum All-Star Bowl in Miami Florida.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at Lakeland?

A: The most important thing I’ve learned from my coaching staff is the importance of doing your job and outworking your competition at all times.

Q: What was your major and what are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A: My major is Sports Management and my plans if football does not work out is to become a Personal Trainer or Coach.

Q: What would your current/past teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: My current and past teammates would say that I am a motivational leader that always sets the example and helps those around me reach their greatest potential. I make sure they understand that I consider them family.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career at any level?

A: The most memorable play of my college career would probably not be what you expect. I could sit here and say it was when I scored my first ever touchdown of my college career or when I scored a crucial touchdown to bring my team back within two points during an elimination game. However, if I said any of these I would be lying. my most memorable play would have to be when my team played Eureka College and I made a crucial stock block to allow my teammate Dezmond Eddie to score and Tie the game during a huge elimination match. I am the type of person that loves to see those around me succeed.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: My biggest challenge has been dealing with my Mom being diagnosed with stage four cancer. Till this day she continues her fight and I deal with it by understanding that the Lord will provide and bare her sickness.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A: I would compare myself to a Julian Edelman/ Tarik Cohen because I run the ball with the same amount of toughness and vision as Tarik Cohen but I run my Routes more Similar to a Julian Edelman because I can create separation and use my quickness and size to make tacklers miss.

Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?

A: The biggest strength I bring to a professional team is my ability to run routes and create separation by using my quickness and intelligence for the game. I approach the game with a “no one can guard me mentality”.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?

A: I am involved in an organization called FCA that helps Christian athletes get closer to God and give back to its community by picking up trash, helping the elderly, or inspiring young kids to chase their dreams.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 National Scouting Combine and what are your goals?

A: I am preparing for the 2020 National Scouting Combine by training at Mayhem Fitness in El Paso, TX. I am increasing my speed, agility, and strength to get ready for the pro level.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A: My ultimate achievement would be to hear my named called at the 2020 NFL Draft.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football?

A: I enjoy playing basketball when I am not playing football. Basketball helps me calm my mind and work on my conditioning.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: The most influential person in my life by far has been my Dad because since I was born he has always taught me to work harder then everybody else and always chase my dreams. My Dad has installed values in me that I will keep for the rest of my life.

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

A: Something unique about me is that I have a talent for editing videos and doing graphic Design. I can make amazing posters, highlight videos, and much more.
