Q: Tell us about your college career and what the recruiting process was like. Why did you choose Texas College?
A: My college career wasn’t your typical college experience. I didn’t play that much, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way.It kinda made me more humble in a way. I just know God puts you in certain situations for you to grow and this school has made me a better person and player
Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?
A: Being invited to the CGS Small School Showcase
Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at Texas College?
A: It would have to be the importance of having an relationship with God. They always would tell us that it is bigger than football. The knowledge they gave us will stick with my long after football.
Q: What was your major and what are your plans if football doesn’t work out?
Q: What would your current/past teammates say about you and your qualities?
A: They would say I’m a very hardworking type of guy, very competitive hate to lose in anything
Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career at any level?
A: A fumble return for a Touchdown against Bacone my sophomore year.
Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?
A: My biggest challenge was overcoming not being able to play my senior year.It was heartbreaking kinda broke me down a little. I had put in so much work and to have it all just fade away like that hurt. I manage to get through it by talking to God everyday and he had a bigger plan for my life.
Q: If you could compare yourself to a pro athlete, who would that be and why?
A:Poona Ford because we are around the same size both not that tall but quick off the ball
Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?
A: I am hardworking and eager to learn and will give my all to any organization that gives me a chance.
Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?
A: I get involved with charity or community service with my team here in Tyler.
Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 National Scouting Combine and what are your goals?
A: I am currently working at at my school facilities during the day and at night I go to a local gym here in Tyler. My goals are to try and get a great 40yd Dash and shine in position drills
Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?
A: Making it to an NFL roster
Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football?
A: I enjoy playing basketball to stay in shape
Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?
A:My parents they have been with me since day 1 of this journey and still push me to this day
Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?
A: I can sing.
