Q: Tell us about your college (or pro) career and what the recruiting/scouting process was like?

A: My college career was exciting. There was no real recruiting process I had only D2 scholarships and D3 scholarships, but I know I was better than what I was offered. So, I decided to apply to West Virginia University and walk on to the team which I did. The reason I decided to go to West Virginia University was because one I could receive in-state tuition in the price of schooling was much more affordable for my parents.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: I would have to say the biggest accomplishment in my sports career so far was traveling with my team to Florida to play in the Orange bowl. The year of 2012 when we be Clemson in the national championship game 70 to 33. But more so it was receiving that championship ring with my teammates and my coaches. Still to this day that is my prize possession and I plan to remove the championship rings in the future to come.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing?

A: I will have to consider the most important thing I learned at West Virginia University for my coaching staff is the ability to push myself way past any limit. Being a Mountaineer, you learn very quick there is no mountain you can climb and with a mentality like that there is always more to give. When you think you gave all you can there is always more to give.

Q: How was your career impacted due to the 2020 pandemic and what have you learned from the adversity?

A: The main thing I have learned from adversity is that it can build character. Who do you think you think you are? And through adversity you will find out exactly who you are.

Q: What was your major and what are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A: My major at West Virginia University was multi-disciplinary studies. Minoring in communication sociology and women and gender studies. If my plans with football does not go as planned, I will continue to Coach the Monticello varsity football team and pursue my career as a physical education teacher.

Q: What would your current/past teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: My current/past teammates would say that I am hard-working funny, And I do not take any plays off.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career at any level?

A: As a freshman walk on, I had the fastest 40 among 100 other walk on’s. Setting the tone for my career at West Virginia university. I would also like to add that as a freshman During practice hi hit the Running back so hard his helmet came off.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: My biggest challenge has been finding time to continue to pursue my dream of making it to the NFL. And finding time to coach varsity football and maintain a full-time job.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A: I cannot really compare myself to any pro athlete I find myself to be who I am. Hard-working strong dedicated and leaving everything I have on the field.

Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?

A: I will have to say my biggest strength that I could bring to any professional team would have to be my performance. Whether in the weight room or on the field I give my all I will bring my all and I am never the weakest link. I am always willing to learn and perfect my craft. That is why pro scouts should consider me.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or ”pay it forward” in your community?

A: Yes, I am involved heavily in mentoring. Due to the pandemic the MBK program has not Been up and running but I still find time for the kids who are a part of the program to get them to the gym and go out to eat from time to time. Before The pandemic when I was available after work, I set a time aside to visit elementary schools where I spend time teaching younger children the importance of fundamentals of a football player.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2021 National Scouting Combine and what are your goals?

A: I have been spending most of my time training Meal prepping watching film and perfecting my technique. My goals for the 2021 national scouting combine it is for everyone to know who Arthur waiters-Johannes III is.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A: My ultimate achievement will be getting signed to an NFL team and making my family proud. To add I would love to write a check to Monticello football program for the kids in the community to have a new home.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football?

A: When not playing football or training I enjoy going out to eat with my family my girlfriend and my teammates. Spending quality time with my players. I also enjoy playing call of duty.

Q: If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?

A: I am not LeBron James, but I would love to give the kids who are less fortunate opportunities to go to college further their career in sports and in the work field. I am involved with kids who do not See past the town that they live in. I feel that I can be the difference to push these kids in my community.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: I will say the most influential person in my life is my mother. She is always and still is my biggest fan. She put family first and works hard at everything that she does. She never gives up and always see the best in every situation Regardless of adversity. And just like me if she could put a smile on Others faces and make them feel good it brings her joy brings her happiness.

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

A: Something unique about me that people find interesting is that I am big and stature, but I really have a heart of gold and I am a big marshmallow.

Q: What is your dream job?

A: My dream job is being an NFL football player. And if that does not pan out the way I like it to, I would love to be a physical education teacher and continue to coach my young football players.
