Q: Tell us about your college (or pro) career and what the recruiting/scouting process was like?

A:  I played JUCO Football for College Of Dupage from 2017-2019. The recruiting process from high school to college was nice, from official visits to overnight and weekend stays at different universities each month. I stayed in contact with lots of coaches as I began to make a name for myself throughout my High School years. I had an enjoyable time. Being interviewed before and after games, scouted at practices, it was fun. I made sure every time I got on the field whether someone was watching me or not, I gave it my all.  The reason I chose College Of Dupage is because coming out of High School I wasn’t where I needed to be academically, and the coaches at the D1 and D2 level couldn’t offer me anything officially due to the academic struggles I had.  I also played Semi Pro football for the Chicago Chaos for one season in 2019.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: My biggest accomplishment in my sports career so far is breaking the All time Sack record at my high school, (15 sacks in 9 games)  becoming an all state nominee, First Team All area, and becoming the unanimous Upstate Eight Defensive Player of The Year my senior year of high school. When they held their meeting to discuss who would receive the award, every single coach in the Upstate Eight agreed that it should be me simply based on how I purely dominated the competition.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at (Enter school name)?

A:  One of the most important things I learned while at College Of Dupage is to never take anything for granted. Life is short and time goes by fast so make every opportunity count, because one day it will be over.

Q: How was your career impacted due to the 2020 pandemic and what have you learned from the adversity?

A: My career was impacted by the Pandemic negatively because I couldn’t showcase my abilities to scouts or attend any combines due to the fact that everything was shut down, and is now just beginning to open back up. I have learned to communicate more effectively with coaches, via social media and find ways for them to see me in action without having to be in person due to COVID-19.

Q: What was your major and what are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A:  Business Management, a plan of mine if football doesn’t work out for me is to start my own performance training center and help athletes get better day in and day out. Another plan of mine would be to join the military.

Q: What would your current/past teammates say about you and your qualities?

A:  They would say I’m very competitive, someone who doesn’t like to lose, and someone who loves being in the trenches. Some qualities they would describe me with would be outgoing, creative, and very energetic.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career at any level?

A: One of the most memorable plays was when I broke through a double team block on 3rd and 10 and sacked the quarterback, which prevented him from completing the pass and we won the game.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A:  My biggest challenge was honestly the Covid-19 Pandemic and when we went into lockdown for a full two months, it was the first time I had ever gone so long without lifting weights, doing cardio, and seeing loved ones. It was pure isolation, it was an odd feeling. A current challenge I face right now is not knowing what is going to happen in my life or where I will be in the next 3 years of my life. I manage this by staying positive, talking to god, and manifesting positivity into my life.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A: If I could compare myself to a pro athlete, my comparison would be Noah Spence. We play the same position, same height, same weight, pretty much run the 40 in the same amount of time. Both have been through challenges while in school academically. I study his moves and others similar to him as well, so I can better myself and become a better pass rusher and all around athlete.

Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?

A: My biggest strength I will bring to a professional team is my ability to listen more than I speak. God gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason. Athletically, I will bring my pass rush skills to the table and be relentless everytime i step on the field. I Also have the ability to shed blocks and stop the run consistently. I feel like I will be an all around great athlete, and help the team in whatever is most beneficial to my coaching staff.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or ”pay it forward” in your community?

A:  Every other Saturday, I help give back at the local food banks, while also visiting homeless shelters, and donating what I can  to help whoever is in need.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2021 National Scouting Combine and what are your goals?

A: I’ve been preparing for the National Scouting Combine by attending speed and agility sessions for the past 6 weeks, working on speed, cutting, and elusiveness. My goals are to put up good numbers for each test, and bench press 225 at least 24 times.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A:  My ultimate Achievement would be me making it to the NFL. It would be a dream come true. Becoming a professional athlete has been in my sights my entire life, and I will do whatever it takes to get there.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football?

A: I enjoy playing video games, reading, lifting weights, and watching hulu.

Q: If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?

A: If I could make a positive impact on society, it would be to end world hunger. Or even put a roof over every single person’s head. Nobody should be living out in the streets. We live in a crazy world.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A:  The most influential person in my life is my mother. She has been my backbone and has been with me every step of the way. She motivates me to be great, because her entire life she has been great. I plan to follow in her footsteps and become as successful as her and even more..

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

A:  Something about me people would find interesting is that I’m very laid back. I like to be in the house.  I’m really a homebody type of person who likes to just chill for the most part. I stay to myself and mind my own business.

Q: What is your dream job?

A: My dream job is to be a professional athlete, I would love to be given an opportunity to perform in the NFL, CFL, or even the XFL.
