Q: Tell us about your college (or pro) career and what the recruiting/scouting process was like. Why did you
choose (Enter school name)?
A: I went to Southern Connecticut State University after a tough injury my senior year of high school (broken hand), most of my D1 attention went away with little film to show. I went on to start and lead the team in receptions and touchdowns my last 2 years playing wide receiver.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?
A: Being able to catch the game winning touchdown of my senior year high school thanksgiving game with a broken hand and cast on. Was out for 6 weeks prior, and was finally cleared to play final game as a receiver with a cast on.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing?
A: From Southern Connecticut I learned life, like football, is exactly what you make of it, the more work you put in, the more likely success will come your way, however it is not on a linear timeline. All that work can be put in for one moment, and usually preparation is much, much longer than the event itself you are preparing for.

Q: How was your career impacted due to the 2020 pandemic and what have you learned from the adversity?
A: I finished football collegiately in 2019, and became a full time personal trainer, so the pandemic allowed me to focus on building my business, while getting in the best shape of my life.

Q: What was your major and what are your tplans if football doesn’t work out?
A: I double minored in exercise science and nutrition, and with that knowledge and schooling I directly apply it to my clients. Performance training in my own facility is my long term goal.

Q: What would your current/past teammates say about you and your qualities?
A: My work ethic is unmatched, not the loudest guy, but will always let my work, and performance on/off the field speak for itself.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career at any level?
A: High school touchdown to win the Thanksgiving game. 2014/15 New Bedford High School verses Durfee high school. Caught the game winner in overtime with my broken hand, and back flipped in the end zone as time expired.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: Trying to do to many things at once and spreading myself too thin. Focusing on one priority and at a time and going until completion along with daily reflection has helped.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a pro athlete, who would that be and why?
A: A taller Cole Beasley . I am a gifted athlete, but no freak of nature, instead I rely on my route running and planned reactions to always get separation on the field.

Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?
A: My work ethic is radiated to the people around me. With years experience as a personal trainer along with years of being “the guy” on a given team, I’ve learned to get the best from the people around me by holding myself just as accountable as I hold others.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or ”pay it forward” in your community?
A: Yes, under my own personal business Floogsfitness, I do weekly free field work in New Haven Ct, along with having a scholarship annually fundraised to my hometown high school New Bedford High School.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2021 National Scouting Combine and what are your goals?
A: I’ve been training at Exceed Sports Performance In Westborough Massachusetts. My goals are to show I am a NFL athletic/skilled receiver with much more to offer as a teammate.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?
A: Starting my own personal small business myself. It is far from where I would like it to be, but it allows me to create an income while helping others in the community daily.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football?
A: Besides training others, I enjoy getting outdoors as much as I can when the weather allows. Whether it is hiking, surfing, playing basketball, anything under the sun being active is what I enjoy.

Q: If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?
A: I would try to explain to others how important a positive mindset is to your own personal life. Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react. The better those reactions can be paired with a positive outlook, the world would be so much brighter for most of society.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?
A: My first coach at highschool, Dennis Golden. He was able to take me and my best friend under his wing going into freshman year when we were kids walking around the city everyday. He taught us life lessons daily, and instilled in us that there cannot be corners cut in this life if you want things to go your way.

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?
A: I have a Black Belt in TaeKwonDo which I earned as a 12 year old. Taught me the importance of body control along with balance, physically and mentally.

Q: What is your dream job?
A: Owning my own performance gym, where I can create a positive community for athletes and families to feel welcomed, while seeing themselves progress in what they love to do.
