Q: Tell us about your college career and what the recruiting/scouting process was like?

A: My college career at Edward Waters University consisted of applying myself and making new connections. Coming from a public school with a losing record made the recruiting process more difficult but gave me the opportunity to work hard and stand out. I chose Edward Waters University because I wanted to experience the HBCU lifestyle.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: I learned from my coaches at Edward Waters University to give 110% at everything you do, no matter what it is.

Q: What was your major and what are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A: My major at Edward Waters University is Biology and if playing football doesn’t work out then I will continue with my career path within physical therapy/sports medicine helping others pursuing a football career.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: My biggest challenge was how to get into college and how I was going to pay for it. When I found out that football was an opportunity for me to get a scholarship and I wouldn’t have to pay out of pocket, I pursued my football career and ended up falling in love with the game.

A: During my collegiate career I would say the best player I played against was number seven from Albany State University.

A: My biggest strength is my high energy, communication skills and willingness/mindset to treat every team meeting, practice and game like it was my last. Also, my work ethic and understanding of the game will also set me apart from all other athletes.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or ”pay it forward” in your community?

A: Pledging a fraternity within my time at Edward Waters University has given me the opportunity to participate in many different forms of community service and charity work within my community.

A: When I am not playing football I enjoy working out, being with my family and listening to music. I also enjoy going to live sports events, playing games on my Xbox and reading.

Q: If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?

A: My positive impact on all of society would be orchestrating a huge outdoor fundraising event that everyone could take part in no matter what age or race.
