Q: Tell us about your high school career and what the recruiting process has been like thus far.

A: Over the course of the last 3 years, my High School career has been pretty awesome, from an educational standpoint to accountability and preparation for College. With respect for the recruiting process, while this has been for sure a learning process, it has been rewarding to say the least. Talking with college coaches, while learning about their program is so exciting. When that coach offers you a position on their team, it comes with exhilaration followed by emotions.

Q: When did you receive your first offer and what school was it from? How many offers have you received thus far?

A: I received my first offer on 5/13/2020 from Clarion university. Since then I have acquired 4 more offers resulting 5 to date.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: My biggest accomplishment in my sports career is receiving a collegiate offer. I have dreamed, planned and worked me endlessly to put myself in a position to earn one and I finally did it.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at your school?

A: While I initially had a hard time understanding the “Why” factor when being told to do something, however The most important thing I’ve learned is that the coaches give their time to see you succeed, because if you succeed the team succeeds.

Q: What have you learned during this unique time in 2020? What did you focus on or accomplish during Quarantine?

A: This unique time has taught me how not to take anything for granted. As our football season hangs in the balance on something outside of our control, I focused on two things during quarantine. 1. Make myself a better teammate, by putting on  20 pounds, so that I can be more disruptive in the offensive backfield 2. Be a better leader and mentor to the underclass men while sharing my knowledge and techniques with them.

Q: If you could play in college, what would you choose to major in? What are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A: I do not have a specific major chosen yet, however since childhood; I have always wanted to work along the lines of counter terrorism / Forensic science after college. Once I obtain my degree my goal is to enter into the federal law enforcement field.

Q: What would your current teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: I am hopeful my current teammates would say that “I am the hardest worker that pays attention to detail and never takes a rep off”. I know I may not be the most talented player on the field, however there is no excuse for allowing someone to outwork you.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career so far?

A: My most memorable play of my career was during our first Susquehanna game,  I had caused a fumble in the backfield, giving McDevitt the ball late in the 4th quarter and ending the other team’s game winning drive.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: My biggest challenge is my weight gain. I must constantly manage it by monitoring my daily caloric intake, training goals and required amount of rest.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a collegiate or pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A:  Hands down, I would compare myself to Brian “The Boz’ Bosworth. I wanted to immolate his style of play, his energy and even his hair style. (Unfortunately Bishop McDevitt thought over wise) While I haven’t had the opportunity to meet him yet, I believe we have the mindset that no matter what happens to my body, that I will sacrifice my body to stop the player with the ball no matter the physical cost.

Q: What is your biggest strength and why should college coaches & scouts consider you?

A: My biggest strength is my refusal to give up. While this is not limited to just wins and losses on the field, rather my desire to work/train every day and not stop until I achieve the position or status required.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?

A: I am a student ambassador for McDevitt. Student ambassadors are “The face” of the school. When we have a potential new student coming to McD, we are assigned to escort them for the day, while explaining McD life and answering any questions they may have.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 High School National Scouting Combine and what are your goals for the combine?

A: Between teamwork outs and weight training, I have worked on technique and some Isometric drills for my speed as I would like to get that a little faster. My goals post combine is to compare drill times to see how I rank among other players that play my position.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A:  My ultimate achievement will be earning a degree through football.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football? Do you play other sports?

A: When I am not playing football, I am very passionate in my training. I am constantly focused on improving. I currently do not play any other sports, however this season I do plan on wrestling.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: The most influential person in my life would be my father. He is a USMC combat veteran. He has instilled in me that failure is not an option, and if you want something, you must earn it. He has taught me that a team is similar to a military unit. It consists of every man having a job to do. When every man gives 100%, you will have a successful mission. If someone is struggling, then carry him. Do whatever you need to do for each other, every time you step into battle.

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

A: Something someone would find unique about me is that I am a giant Star Wars fan. It’s always held my attention since childhood and I’ve grown to love it.
