Q: Tell us about your high school career and what the recruiting process has been like thus far.

A: So far throughout high school my career started out slow from being injured twice my freshman year but this previous season I made a jump to starting free safety on Varsity.

Q: When did you receive your first offer and what school was it from? How many offers have you received thus far?

A: I still haven’t received an offer.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: Being a starter on varsity knowing all my hard work is paying off.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at your school?

A: The most important thing I’ve learned is that nothing is granted and you need to work hard for everything and stay ready so you don’t have to get ready.

Q: What have you learned during this unique time in 2020? What did you focus on or accomplish during Quarantine?

A: I learned how to get creative with my workouts and learn how lucky we all are to have what we have and to be more appreciative.

Q: If you could play in college, what would you choose to major in? What are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A: If I could play in college I would choose my major in Foreign affairs because of the significance it has to my home country and is one of the major factors of our modern world.

Q: What would your current teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: My teammates would say that I’m a hardworking, competitive, and calm individual. I know how to work hard but I also know how to get along with everyone and get a great chemistry going.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career so far?

A: My most memorable play was getting my first safety. It was incredible, finally scoring points and helping my team win.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: My biggest challenge is my size because standing at 5’10 160 I have to work harder so I can accomplish what 6’4 guys can do.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a collegiate or pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A: Denzel Ward or Chris Harris Jr, both guys are speedy 5’10 defensive backs who can hit hard.

Q: What is your biggest strength and why should college coaches & scouts consider you?

A: My biggest strengths are playing through the hand and my speed.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?

A: I am involved in a volunteer organization named S.O.M.E in Northeast, DC. They help the homeless by preparing and serving food.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 High School National Scouting Combine and what are your goals for the combine?

A: I’ve been training during the week on my own and with friends working on strength, speed. , and agility as well as positional drills. I have also been seeing a coach who helps with 40 training and positional drills.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A: My ultimate achievement is football wise right now is to acquire a scholarship and make my parents have now worries about payments for college. My ultimate life achievement is to raise and have a happy family, I do believe the goal of life is happiness.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football? Do you play other sports?

A: When I’m not playing football I like to teach myself how to do things, hangout with friends and family, and be laid back.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: I think my parents have been because they have basically shaped me into the person I am today.

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

A: Something unique about me is that I wasn’t born in the United States but instead the country of Portugal.
