Q: Tell us about your high school career and what the recruiting process has been like thus far.

A: To be honest my high school career started off not the best. I used to ask myself why the coach made the decision to play me before others older, bigger and stronger upper classmen. Now I realized the coach saw potential in me, which made me want do better and get better.  By my junior year, I was a different player, I was looking forward to practice and games.  During offseason I pushed myself to get stronger and faster, which helped me to develop my skills.  By the end of my junior year, I was awarded 1st Team DL All-5D Regional Football Team, 2nd Team DL All-Commonwealth District Football Team, and Honorable Mention All- NoVA & All-Area.

Looking forward to my senior year, I had big goals to do big thing, I wanted to be the player coach were talking about and the better teammate I could possibly be. Unfortunately the pandemic has rearranged those plays. So now I have to email and text coaches. Recruiting has been going pretty well and I am building great relationship with a lot of coaches.

Q: When did you receive your first offer and what school was it from? How many offers have you received thus far?

A:  I have not received an offer yet, however I have had several school showing interest.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

AMy biggest accomplishment outside of football, was during indoor track season, I won 1st place Commonwealth District Meet championship in shotput.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at your school?

A:  One of the many things my coaching staff has taught me was don’t show emotion. Don’t let your opponent see you tried, sad, angry, and frustrated. Keep your composure through anything.

Q: What have you learned during this unique time in 2020? What did you focus on or accomplish during Quarantine?

A:  I learned to be flexible and not stress over something I can’t control. During Quarantine, I’m focused on getting bigger and stronger. I’ve reached a new bench press Personal Record (PR).

Q: If you could play in college, what would you choose to major in? What are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A:  I am interested in a lot of different things.  I want to be a business man, but I like the outdoors and love to cook.  So, I’m looking for something that would include all of my interest.

Q: What would your current teammates say about you and your qualities?

A:  My teammates would say, I’m a solid player that gives 110% every time.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career so far?

A:  My most memorable play accrued during a regional game.  Off of a deflection, I got my first pick, which changed the possession of the ball and the momentum of the game. My teammate and I when on to win that game.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A:   I have always been a big guy. Because of my height and weight, I have always has to play up with the next age level. They were older and had more experience than me. I had to learn the game first and be willing to play different position, which made me a better player.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a collegiate or pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A: I would compare myself to James Harrison, who played for the Pittsburg Steelers. He was a person that his action spoke loader than his words.  He was a solid football player.

Q: What is your biggest strength and why should college coaches & scouts consider you?

A:  I feel like my biggest strength is, you don’t know which position I’m going to be in next. I’m a versatile player and can play all the way down the line.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A:  The most influential person in my life has to be my mom. She has faith in me when I don’t have it in myself. She has never missed a football game or a track meet.

A:  Most people don’t know this but a Chess prodigy.
