Q: Tell us about your college career and what the recruiting process was like. Why did you choose Bethel?

A: I was got in contact with Lakeland through my highschool coach. I went to a school visit and liked how the program expressed their bother hood within the team. My career at Lakeland started off by switching to the OL,  I played mostly DL throughout highschool. I was the second string my freshman year to learn. The last three years I started 29 games.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: The biggest accomplishment in my sports career was breaking the record for yards per game in D3 history my Jr. year. The team broke a ton of school records that year and the skill players got a lot of recognition for it. The OL group was proud that we could set the stage for them. It was a special year for the program.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at Bethel?

A: My coaching staff taught me that in both life and football to understand that I can only control my actions and choices. When a game was not going as planed, the coaches would always remind us to control what we can, do our individual jobs, and trust one another.

Q: What was your major and what are your plans if football didn’t work out?

A: My major is criminal justice, and my plan for when football is over is to go into law enforcement.

Q: What would your teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: My teammates would say that I am determined and selfless. I have fought through many phyiscal battles to be on the field during games. Off the field I do whatever is needed to be the best I can be.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: My biggest challenge was having to let my shoulder heal after surgery. While I supported my teammates, it was hard not training that off-season. It was a long 6 month recovery until I could even begin to lift again. Once I was able to, I had three months to get my strength back before camp. I entered camp breaking my past PR’s in three lifts.

Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?

A: My biggest strength is my mental ability. I bring a certain mentality to the table that most do not have. Additionally on the field, I have played against many different kinds of defences and know how to beat them. I have made game time decisions/adjustments with my coaches because I knew what was going on.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: Most influential person is my grandpa. He has taught me how to work hard for what I want and do what needs to be done. He always puts everyone else first and sacrificed everything to help others.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?

A: Currently I am mentoring some youth students as far as their athletic and academic careers. I have done this the past couple of years to show that even the kids from northern Wisconsin can have a chance to get into the big college programs. I do this because if I had someone show me it was possible and what steps to start taking back then, maybe I could have had bigger program offers. I am also working on becoming a volunteer firefighter in my community.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2019 National Scouting Combine and what are your expectations?

A: I have prepared for the combine by lifting correctly, eating proper food, and mentally being able to handle any outcomes.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A: My ultimate achievement is to be able to live off football and make a difference in others lives.
