Q: Tell us about your college (or pro) career and what the recruiting/scouting process was like. Why did you choose (Enter school name)?
A: I chose Bowling Green State University because my best friend Roger Lewis and I wanted to go to college together so we both committed there.
Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?
A: Going from not being highly recruited to becoming an All -Mac defensive back.
Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at (Enter school name)?
A: At my time at Bowling Green, I played under three different defensive coordinators. I learned how to adjust and learn the new defensives and the terminology of the coaches. it was a blessing because I learned different techniques that I could use in my game.
Q: How was your career impacted due to the 2020 pandemic and what have you learned from the adversity?
A: My career was put on hold during the pandemic. I graduated from BGSU in 2018 so I haven’t played since then. I’ve learned a lot from the adversity for example resilience. Being consistent in doing things to better me as a football player each day.
Q: What was your major and what are your plans if football doesn’t work out?
A: My major was liberal studies, if football doesn’t work out then I would love to come back home to be a mentor and trainer for children/young men that are pursuing their dreams.
Q: What would your current/past teammates say about you and your qualities?
A: Selfless, leader, hard worker.
Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career at any level?
A: One of my most memorable plays of my career was catching my first college interception in the MAC championship game my freshman year. Another one would be catching my last college interception to win the game vs Central Michigan my senior year.
My biggest strength that I bring to a team is being a leader and being versatile. I have played every position in the backend and I love special teams.
Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?
A: Looking out for people before I would myself. It has been my biggest challenge my whole life. I can manage it better by just making sure that I take of me and my family first.
Q: If you could compare yourself to a pro athlete, who would that be and why?
A: I would compare myself to no one honestly. I watch film on certain athletes who game I admire and respect. Tyrann Matheiu is one person whose film I love to watch because of his love for the game and versatility. He’s been counted out on numerous occasions, but he’s always handled adversity well.
Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?
A: My biggest strength that I bring to a team is being a leader and being versatile. I have played every position in the backend and I love special teams.
Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or ”pay it forward” in your community?
A: I do help mentor young men in my community, and I have helped in multiple Thanksgiving giveaways and back to school giveaways
Q: How are you preparing for the 2021 National Scouting Combine and what are your goals?
A: I have been preparing by lifting and conditioning Monday-Friday with my personal trainers here in Columbus. I have the best strength coach, speed coach, and recovery team. My goals are to run fast and jump high and look smooth and explosive in my drills.
Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?
A: To get to the NFL to have a great career so I can be able to take care of my family.
Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football?
A: I do not enjoy losing but I enjoy playing the game always.
Q: If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?
A: For everyone to get a chance to know who God is. If we could all do that, I believe that there would be less violence, less hate, less greed, less envy. We just need genuine love and that’s who HE is.
Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?
A: My family. They have had my back through everything. They have kept me focus on my goals and believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself.
Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?
A: I am ambidextrous I’m actually left-handed, but I throw a football with my right and shoot a basketball with my right. But I throw a baseball with my left and bat right-handed.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: Playing in the NFL.
