How’d you end up at your current school? What was the recruiting process like?

  • I ended up at Grandview University because of Coach Daniel Clark. I wanted something more in football so, I decided to enter the transfer portal. Coach Clark reach out to me immediately and helped through the process of transferring even before I committed to Grandview. 

 

What gives you an advantage over other athletes as an Offensive Line?

  • The advantage I have is that I am able to get out, run and block in space.

 

What does being a student of a game mean to you?

  • Being a student of the game means you understand how everything works not just your responsibility knowing what everyone is supposed to do. This gives you an advantage to the game plan.

 

How does being an Offensive Line reflect itself in your personal life?

 

  • Being an Offensive Line has made me a stronger protector to my friends, family and myself.

 

How would you describe your work ethic?

  • My work ethic include, being dedicated, reliable, team player, leader, dependable and trustworthy.

 

What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff?

  • Having passion about something you love, will lead you to success.

 

What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

  • Becoming First Team All Conference.

 

How did you hear about the National Scouting Combine?

  • A former player from Grandview went there. I followed them on social media and shortly after someone reached out to me with the opportunity. 

 

Why did you choose the National Scouting Combine?

  • I chose National Scouting Combine because from research, they produce a lot of opportunities beyond the combine. 

 

What do you hope to show people at the combine?

  • I want to show them that I’m capable of competing with any level of talent.

 

What was your Major?

  • My major is Physical Education with Coaching Endorsements.

 

Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

  • The most influential person in my life would be my daughter. She gives me a different drive. 

 

If not football, then what?

  • If not football, I would coach sports and start a real estate business. 

 

If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?

  • I could make an impact on society by doing volunteer work and giving back to those in need. I was raised to always share your blessings. 

 

What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

  • I once played baseball for my grandfather’s little league team. 

 

If you had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, what sport would you choose?

  • I would choose basketball.

 

Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or ”pay it forward” in your community?

  • Yes, I pay it forward or do a special deed each day. Also, I am a part of the Viking Brothers at my school. As upper-class football players, we take freshmen under our wings and lead by example on and off the field.
