Q: Tell us about your college career and what the recruiting process was like. Why did you choose Campbell University ?

A: The recruiting process was difficult for me. After finding out about Campbell late in the process I chose Campbell because of its strengths in education as well as NFL great Mike Minter being the head coach. I ended up walking on to the team and eventually earned a full scholarship.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: My biggest accomplishment so far would be being named 3rd team all Big South in my first and only season playing Sam linebacker/ nickel

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at Campbell University ?

A: The most important things I learned while at Campbell is the importance of technique, confidence, and film study. If you perfect your technique and have confidence in it while combining that with being mentally prepared for your opponent, you will always be ready to make plays.

Q: What was your major and what are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A: I majored in Business administration. Im also currently studying to be a personal trainer. If football doesn’t workout I plan on opening my own gym/ training facility in my hometown of Ayden NC.

Q: What would your current/past teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: My teammates would say that im reliable, self motivated, and that I lead by example.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career at any level?

A:  One of my most memorable plays would have to be my interception against Shaw in 2018, it was my first career interception so it will always be special to me.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: My biggest challenge football wise would be learning 4 different positions over my college career. I managed it by staying in my playbook, extra meeting time with my coaches and trusting them to have me in the best situation.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A: Jalen Ramsey because of similar height and weight. He also is a very versatile players who loves to be physical in man to man while also being effective in zone coverage.

Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?

A: Leadership, Selflessness, Competitiveness, Athleticism, and willingness to put the team before me.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community>

A: I volunteer at my home church with the Food bank of America distributing food to people in need.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 National Scouting Combine and what are your goals?

A: Im preparing by training in the weight room and on the field everyday. My goals for the combine are to put up great numbers compared to guys at the NFL combine.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A: My ultimate achievement would be to earn a contract with a team, make the most of any opportunity and see how far I can take my football career.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football?

A: I enjoy working out, hanging out with friends, and playing PS4

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: My dad is the most influential person in my life. He’s always done whatever he needs to in order to take care of the family.

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

A: I use to be a great violin player
