What gives you an advantage over other athletes at your position? What gives me the most advantage over other athletes at my position is my power and weight. I believe I have a lot of strength in which I am able to use as a DT. As well as in order to have power is important you are aware of your weight which can be an advantage. I have also been recognized for my block recognition. In conclusion, I’ll have to say everything is important but what makes an athlete is the attitude you come in with. I have played at Division lll, in my college career and the attitude you bring to the field and practice is key. I just have to come in with that mindset to prove to these leagues that are watching.

What does being a student of a game mean to you? I love sport and I love the game which is why I feel like as an athletic student is one of your priorities and importance. As well as, watching films helps me to see what I have to improve and my default. It helps me prepare for the game and study the other team’s movements in what they can do in the game.

How does being a (DT) reflect itself in your personal life? Bringing the energy, celebrating your teammates, having gap control and awareness. Making plays is the most important thing as an interior linemen. As a DT it has reflected in my personal life in having control and awareness. As a human it is important to not only understand your point of view but others around you. Is important to be aware of others and I believe that has been a big personal reflection that I have seen connected to me and my personality. The awareness of your presence has a big influence on my teammates.

How would you describe your work ethic? I am disciplined and determined that these are key ethics for improvement. Work ethic is all about being dedicated and focused, I always try to stay organized and make sure I’m giving my hundred percent. I love working out that part of my daily routine all year round. Ladder drills and cones drills are my two biggest things I work on when I’m on the field. But overall I take it very seriously and to stay in shape.

What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far? My biggest accomplishment in my sports career so far was being able to play the sport I love throughout my college experience. Being able to play in college is a big accomplishment because not everyone has the opportunity to play.

Why did you choose the National Scouting Combine? National Scouting Combine is an amazing opportunity for more exposure and an opportunity to play in the league if an offer is made. Is also an opportunity to grow and learn new techniques that I can use in life or in sport. I am also getting my name out in the world to not only know my name but what I can do in the field.

What do you hope to show people at the combine? My character on and off the field. I hope to show my dedication, the love I have for this game, and show I’m ready for more. I hope to show my strength and power in techniques on the football field.

If you could make a positive impact on all of society, what would it be and why? If I can make a positive impact on all of society will be to never give up on your dreams and accept who you are. This can reduce anxiety and increase self acceptance to be better and do better. This can help people live their life to the fullest and accomplish their dreams. Moreover, never give up on your dreams because with determination everything is possible.

What is something unique about you that people would find interesting? Something unique about me that people would find interesting is I like learning from other coaches and players even outside of football. Listening to advice which can help as an athlete but also as a person.

If you had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, what sport would you choose? Basketball, I played basketball throughout high school in which I was offered scholarships.

Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or “pay it forward” in your community? I’ll say yes because I have helped out my personal training with coaching a youth football team. Moreover, I have taught kids one-one and a team some techniques and drills. I coached the D-line for about four months. As well as, help with youth camps at my college.
