Athletic performance is one part of recruiting and scouting. No test result or grade guarantees an offer, roster spot or professional opportunity.
The level-playing-field idea
Great athletes do not all start with equal visibility.
A highly recruited FBS athlete may enter the process with extensive film, media exposure and institutional credibility. A small-school athlete may need stronger objective evidence just to earn the same first look.
Standardized data does not erase football context. It can, however, give underexposed athletes a credible way to show that their measurable athletic profile belongs in a higher-level conversation.
