What team(s) have you had a chance to work out with or sign with?

After the combine I had a rookie mini camp for the Vikings it didn’t workout not a LB now I’m with the cfl BC Lions and I’m ready to play.

Tell us a little about your college experience and some memorable moments.

College was cool I went to a naia I only played 1 year of high school football and that was the only place that recruited me but I’m grateful they did, I think my most memorable moment was my senior year I got a pick my first game after finding out 3 days earlier my best friend my grandma passed away and I also lost my good friend 6 months earlier.

What was your experience like at the 2019 National Scouting Combine and did it meet your expectations?

2019 was a crazy year I went to Mexico for a bowl game then Minnesota for another bowl game, Got my bench to 500 and my squat to 635 , the combine did meet my expectations. I wanted to kill it and get noticed and it worked so I thank all the staff for doing this because without them I probably wouldn’t have got my recognition.

What has the transition from college to pro been like so far?

So far It’s been great I would be in school at this time so not doing homework has been a plus. But spending my time working and getting better at my craft is amazing I love it.

What have you learned so far about becoming a pro athlete that you aren’t taught in college?

Nothing so far my first time will be in May so I’ll answer that in May haha.

What are your expectations for 2020 and the prospect of playing professional football?

Be all Canadian be the best pass rusher in the cfl 10+ sacks 15+ tfl 1-3 ff and a pick it won’t be easy but I’m up for the task , and maybe my first ever TD.

What has been the motivation to continue to strive for professional football?

My parents and me I came a long long way and I didn’t come this far to fail or be stopped I can only get better if I put the work in and stay hungry and right now I’m feeling like a pig that can’t eat on thanksgiving but only watch , while people I’m better than get a plate gotta stay motivated can’t be stopped.

Who has been influential & supportive in your success and kept you on track to succeed?

Both my mom and dad without them I wouldn’t be anything honestly they helped me pay for the combine and training and in my mind I owe them everything so I do this for them I guess they are my motivation and motivators.

If you could provide athletes in college advice on what it takes to get to the “next level”, what are some tips you would provide?

First don’t party lol be better than all that your friends can drink smoke etc.. but if you want to be the best on your team and go to the next level stay motivated it’s easy to get lost on your path to greatness but stay on that path and eventually you’ll find your goal. Never let anyone say you can’t I had teammates in college who said nfl or cfl is a myth at my school well I guess I’m The lost city of Atlantis. And lastly work on your technique if your technique is better than your opponents and the people in your position you’re already 20 steps ahead and it will make it easier for you to master and learn new ones because you already been there done that be great.
