Q: Tell us about your sports career and what the recruiting/scouting process was like?

A: I played football in highschool all 4 years, wasn’t recruited but had one college, Grand View Vikings, interested in me. Eventually went off to Unt to play rugby and fell in love with the game. Played for 3 years in college and 2 more years after I graduated. I currently play semi-pro football for the North Texas Rams as an Outside Linebacker.

Q: Did you play in college and if so, who did you play for? What was your experience like?

A: I did not play college football but I was fortunate enough to have played college Rugby for Unt. The experience was amazing, I learned a lot about the game and what it takes to compete at a high level.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: My biggest accomplishment in my sports career will be years later after I have retired from the NFL with at least 2-4 superbowl wins in my playing career. I haven’t accomplished anything noteworthy at this moment.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from your coach(es)

A: One of the most important things I learned was from my Rugby coach in college and that was not to be selfish on the field and put my team in the best position to win. This goes hand in hand with football and Rugby.

Q: What would your current/past teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: I’m hardworking, driven and that I always put my best foot forward no matter the circumstances.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career at any level?

A: The most memorable plays of my career have been the tries I scored while playing Rugby.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: My biggest challenge has been staying focused on my dream despite the 2020 pandemic and every other obstacle I have faced in life.

Q: Who was the best player you played against anytime during your career?

A: Roy Robertson-Harris for the Jacksonville Jaguars comes to mind who I played alongside during High School and went against in practice.

Q: If you could compare yourself to any pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A: I would compare myself to Ray Lewis. I studied the way he played the linebacker position and would mimic his play while also adapting my own style.

Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?

A: My biggest strength would be my work ethic, finding ways for my team and I to grow, be better and accomplish the goals we set at the beginning of the season

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or ”pay it forward” in your community?

A: Currently I’m not involved in any mentoring but I would have to say my job as a substitute teacher and working as a Sports Performance Specialist has in a way allowed me to mentor our youth.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football?

A: Watching youtube videos of some of the greatest like Kobe and studying the way he approached the game of basketball and life outside of basketball.

Q: If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?

A: I want to use my passion to inspire others to find themselves. Using my passion to inspire somebody else to create their passion

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: The most influential person has been Kobe Bryant

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

A: My flexibility and the things I’m able to do in the gym.

Q: If you had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, what sport would you choose?

A: My goal and dream has always been to play football professionally. Though I played rugby and wouldn’t be upset if I played it professionally my dream has always been to play football.

Q: What is your dream job?

A: Playing in the National Football League for the Philadelphia Eagles and winning multiple SuperBowls
