Q: Tell us about your high school career and what the recruiting process has been like thus far. 

A: I am a 2-year varsity starter, and so far I have received 4 FCS offers.

 

Q: When did you receive your first offer and what school was it from? How many offers have you received thus far? 

A: I received my first offer on April 24, 2020 from Columbia University.

 

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: Being an All-Region Player and receiving Leadership Awards as a Sophomore and Junior.

 

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at your school?

A: How important mental toughness is in the game of football.

 

Q: What have you learned during this unique time in 2020? What did you focus on or accomplish during Quarantine?

A: I have learned how to stay disciplined and how to work hard no matter what the circumstances are, and that nothing is guaranteed so make the most out of everything you get.

 

Q: If you could play in college, what would you choose to major in? What are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A: I want to earn a degree in the financial field or business field of the school that I attend.

 

Q: What would your current teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: They would say I am a leader, and someone they can trust to have their backs on and off the field

 

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career so far?

A: Having the game winning Sack against Loudoun County High School with the largest fan attendance of the season was an incredible moment.

 

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: My biggest challenge was overcoming a broken thumb and learning how to play at a high level with a club on.

  

Q: What is your biggest strength and why should college coaches & scouts consider you?

A: My biggest strengths are my toughness and intelligence on the field, I am a very coachable player that coaches would love to have in their locker room

 

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?

A: I volunteer to tutor kids at the local elementary schools, and I help with special needs basketball tournaments.

 

Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 High School National Scouting Combine and what are your goals for the combine?

A: I have been doing speed training since May to prepare myself for any speed test.

 

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement? 

A: To be able to go to college for free at a high academic institution

 

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football? Do you play other sports? 

A: I play golf and spend time with family and friends

 

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life? 

A: My dad has been the most influential person in my life by pushing me to be better everyday

 

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

A: I am ambidextrous
