Q: Tell us about your high school career and what the recruiting process has been like thus far.
A: The recruiting process has been pretty silent so far, but I know if I keep working as hard as I am, I will get noticed and I will get my offers. I think high school has been pretty successful for me so far but going up to the varsity level this year is a whole new game and I’m ready.
Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?
A: Being able to score a TD on the varsity level to see what it’s like.
Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at your school?
A: That as you get up to the next level in football you have to become smarter and smarter because everyone else is good too.
Q: What have you learned during this unique time in 2020? What did you focus on or accomplish during Quarantine?
A: That if you don’t work hard you can’t be a true winner so this quarantine, I’ve worked on gaining weight and trying to get to 170 lbs., I’m at 165 right now.
Q: If you could play in college, what would you choose to major in? What are your plans if football doesn’t work out?
A: Something business related because I’m creative and innovative. I want to be able to get a job doing something I actually find interesting and like to do.
Q: What would your current teammates say about you and your qualities?
A: They would tell you I’m a hard worker, I’m very competitive and I’m an athlete because I can play lots of places.
Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career so far?
A: A score against Broad Run JV where they thought they had me tackled and I busted out of it and scored from 30 yards out.
Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?
A: My biggest challenge has always been my size but I’m working on gaining weight and I’ve gained 25 lbs over this quarantine.
Q: If you could compare yourself to a collegiate or pro athlete, who would that be and why?
A: Alvin Kamara because he Isn’t overly big me and him both have great balance and break lots of tackles, and we are both also receiving threats.
Q: What is your biggest strength and why should college coaches & scouts consider you?
A: I’m a hard worker and I’ve always told myself to never let anyone outwork me. I will always give my all every play no matter what the circumstances.
Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 High School National Scouting Combine and what are your goals for the combine?
A: I am getting faster, quicker, and more powerful so I can beat my previous combine records
Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?
A: To be able to be at the top of my class in the combine drills.
Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football? Do you play other sports?
A: I like to run track and compete with other kids that are either just as fast as me
or faster.
Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?
A: All of my coaches ever and my mom and dad.
Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?
A: I have high football IQ and know a lot of things that the offense/defense are doing and I’m able to identify them and get into open spaces on offense and make plays on defense.
