Accomplishments & Impact
What would you say is your biggest accomplishment in your athletic career so far, and what did it take for you to achieve it?
Being named Rookie of the Year my freshman season here at Northern.
Role & Identity as a Player
How would you describe your playing style, and what separates you from other athletes in your sport and your position?
I play the position of safety conservatively. I play hard and my knowledge of the game separates me from others.
Development Curve
What is one area of your game you’ve significantly improved over the past year, and how did you develop it?
I have developed into a faster and more explosive athlete. Through track and weight training I have been able to make substantial growth.
Adversity & Resilience
Tell us about a challenge or setback you’ve faced in your career. How did you respond, and what did you learn from it?
This past summer I was out of town and I wasn’t able to spend time with the team as well as understanding what was expected of me. I started showing up to every workout when I returned and tried to learn my role on the team.
Training & Preparation
What does your current training routine look like, and how are you preparing specifically for the May 30th combine?
By coming to the weight room every morning and being at each spring workout in the afternoon. Specifically we have been working on many of the combine drills.
Short-Term Goals (Combine Focus)
What are your specific goals and expectations heading into this combine?
I want to be able to show coaches as well as scouts what I’m capable of.
Long-Term Vision
Where do you see your career going over the next 2–3 years, and what steps are you taking to get there?
I want to be able to earn a scholarship offer within the next 2-3 years and I’m willing to work harder than the next guy and playing the game that I love at the highest level possible.
Football IQ & Leadership
How do you contribute to your team beyond your physical performance—whether that’s leadership,
Communication, or understanding the game?
I communicate all the plays well and if they make a mistake I encourage them rather than criticize.
Recruiting & Exposure
What are you hoping coaches and scouts take away from your performance at the combine?
I want them to see a player who is committed to being an elite football player. One who is very coachable has great communication skills and is a leader on and off the field.
Motivation & Mindset
What drives you to keep pushing and competing at a high level, especially when no one is watching?
I have been doubted a lot and counted out many times. This motivates me to strive to be the very best that I can be.
