Accomplishments & Impact
What would you say is your biggest accomplishment in your athletic career so far, and what did it take for you to achieve it?
- My biggest accomplishment so far was winning first team all-conference and getting recruited by colleges in my state.
Role & Identity as a Player
How would you describe your playing style, and what separates you from other athletes in your sport and your position?
- My play style is aggressive in my opinion, I play with a chip on my shoulder from people doubting me. I also have fun when I play, I try to make the most out of what I do and make people have a good time while also pushing them to be better.
Development Curve
What is one area of your game you’ve significantly improved over the past year, and how did you develop it?
- One area I improved on was strength and blocking, I used to really lack and not be physical enough. I started to study other Tight Ends and see how they became stronger and more physical in the run game.
Adversity & Resilience
Tell us about a challenge or setback you’ve faced in your career. How did you respond, and what did you learn from it?
- A set back i had to overcome was I was not the fastest or knew anything about route running. I started to train and learn from coaches and players around me and implemented that into my game. I learned how to study others and understand why they do certain things in certain situations and how to add that into my game.
Training & Preparation
What does your current training routine look like, and how are you preparing specifically for the May 30th combine?
- I currently train in school and after school with my football team, i’ve been going to the field and improving my form and speed for the combine.
Short-Term Goals (Combine Focus)
What are your specific goals and expectations heading into this combine?
- My goals are to be the best I can possibly be. To be better than the guy next to me but also push the other guys to strive into being the best they can be as well.
Long-Term Vision
Where do you see your career going over the next 2–3 years, and what steps are you taking to get there?
- I see my career going into college, learning how to adapt into the college life but also improving my style of play everyday and how I carry myself. Learning to be the best leader and teammate I can be to help my team have good support.
Football IQ & Leadership
How do you contribute to your team beyond your physical performance—whether that’s leadership,
communication, or understanding the game?
- I feel like my leadership is one thing that I really stand out on, I love to help the younger guys on my team get their form in good shape and get the best understanding of the game early on to improve when they become upperclassmen and I hope they implement my leadership into the younger guys helping them out as well.
Recruiting & Exposure
What are you hoping coaches and scouts take away from your performance at the combine?
- I hope coaches see how I can separate myself from other players, and see how I push everyone around me just as much as I push myself to be great.
Motivation & Mindset
What drives you to keep pushing and competing at a high level, especially when no one is watching?
- My motivation is hearing what people say about me and don’t have confidence in my ability on and off the field. And how people have doubted me, and how I want to prove people wrong and show how I can compete in the sport I love.
