What would you say is your biggest accomplishment in your athletic career so far, and what did it take for you to achieve it?

I would say my biggest accomplishment in my career would be getting honorable mention all conference this past season. It took constant off season work and training with my teammates to reach that accomplishment.  

Role & Identity as a Player
How would you describe your playing style, and what separates you from other athletes in your sport and your position?

My playing style is explosive and heavily form based. My length and knowledge of the game separates me from other athletes that play my position.

Development Curve
What is one area of your game you’ve significantly improved over the past year, and how did you develop it?

 I’ve significantly improved my tackling from the end of last season to now. I had help from my defensive coordinator and I did drills at home to improve my tackling.

Adversity & Resilience
Tell us about a challenge or setback you’ve faced in your career. How did you respond, and what did you learn from it?

A challenge I faced in my career was not having good minutes on varsity my sophomore season. I responded by keeping my head down and working my butt off until I had a chance to showcase my hard work.

Training & Preparation
What does your current training routine look like, and how are you preparing specifically for the May 30th combine?

My everyday training is either an intense lifting session or on the field working on my speed and change of direction. I am preparing for the combine by working my butt off jn the weight room and on the field.

Short-Term Goals (Combine Focus)
What are your specific goals and expectations heading into this combine?

My goals heading into the combine is to perform at the highest level I can and impress the coaches that are present.

Long-Term Vision
Where do you see your career going over the next 2–3 years, and what steps are you taking to get there?

 

In 2-3 years, I see myself playing football at the next level and starting on whatever program Im at. I am getting my film out to coaches and going to camps over the summer to get my name out and play at the next level.

How do you contribute to your team beyond your physical performance—whether that’s leadership, communication, or understanding the game?

I contribute to my team by leading my teammates and helping them on the field bu communicating calls, and I do my best at helping them identify what they could see the offense running post snap.

What are you hoping coaches and scouts take away from your performance at the combine?

I hope scouts and college coaches see that I can use my length and that Im a very athletic football player.

What drives you to keep pushing and competing at a high level, especially when no one is watching?

Being the best I can for myself is what drives me to keep pushing and competing at a high level.
