Name: Lexus Jackson
School: University of St.Francis

Q: How did you get started playing football?

I used to play KillaMan with friends all day everyday (that’s when it’s Every man for self and the objective is to score  touchdowns without getting tackled and if you get tackled before you score you got to toss the ball in the air.)

Q: What separates you from all the other athletes trying to become a professional?

My heart I may not be the fastest or the strongest but once we step on that field The Lion is loose and nothing else really matters to me besides blocking/Catching/ and willing my team to victory

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

My biggest accomplishment so far has to be winning the Citizens Bank Bowl in 2012 with the college of Dupage.

Q: What is/was your biggest challenge and how do/did you manage it?

School was my biggest challenge only because I wasn’t applying myself all I cared about was football and I managed to overcome this challenge by taken a year off from school to get my mind right. While taking that break I was working minimum wage jobs and came to the conclusion that this isn’t the life for me and that I so much more worth so I decided that the only way to live a better life was to go back to school and get my college degree.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

My son Jaden he is what keeps me going I want to set a good example for him as well as being his life optician on never stop chasing his dreams no matter what life throws at him., & Teach him  how to block out the negativity and have tunnel vision.

Q: If you have to compare yourself to a current pro player, who would it be and why?

I think my game is similar to Antonio Brown, why? When the Steelers need a Big play  who is Big Ben targeting. That’s me I have to make my quarterback look good no matter how ugly the pass.
