How’d you end up at your current school? What was the recruiting process like?

I ended up at Oklahoma because of the hard work that was put in on my behalf and the amazing parents that would allow be to dream big and believe and invest in my dream! Traveling from circuit to circuit, my hard work was eventually noticed by a plethora of colligate coaches. And as an Oklahoma kid you don’t pass up the opportunity to play at Oklahoma.

Dissecting EVERY POSSIBLE ELEMENT of the craft. Not just on the field but everything off the field that goes into being great on the filed.

How does being a (DB) reflect itself in your personal life?

Playing the position, you must live in the present moment. Regardless of what happened that was good or bad. Your attention and energy must be directed into the present moment. And that’s how I live, thats what the game has taught me. There’s nothing more valuable than the present moment.

RELENTLESS

“Good play, Bad play, NEXT play”

Because any opportunity is a opportunity; & showcasing my talents in front of scout can help me progress forward to my dreams.

What do you hope to show people at the combine?

I hope to show my improvements in my testing numbers and the value I can bring to a secondary.

What was your Major? African American Studies

If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?

To show people to be themselves, and own their truth! To be a walking symbol of inspiration and for people to know that it’s ok to go after your own self-interest. This would be my message of impact because for a while I was trapped under a theory coined “FOPO” (Fear of other people’s opinion). Searching for validation from outside sources and people and disregarding the only place I can find true value…on the inside!

What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

I LOVE to read.

Basketball, because I’ve always had a love for the art of the sport.

Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or “pay it forward” in your community?

As of right now I’m not. Most of my mentoring comes through the inspirational videos I post on my social media.
