How’d you end up at your current school? What was the recruiting process like? I signed out of Hinds Community College. The recruiting process was very quick because it was my only offer and I liked what they was doing with the program.
What gives you an advantage over other athletes at your position? My ability to be a student of the game and effectively understand and apply angles gives me an advantage at my position.
What does being a student of a game mean to you? Being a student of the game means a lot to me because the game is 90% mental and 10% physical. Understanding the mental aspect is crucial; without it, physical ability alone wouldn’t lead to my success.
How does being a (Center/Gaurd) reflect itself in your personal life? It translate of having to using your brain everyday.
How would you describe your work ethic? I have a very consistent work ethic, always striving to elevate my performance to the next level every day.
What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff? One of the most important things I’ve learned from the coaching staff is their thought process and how they identify key details to help improve my performance.
What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far? Honestly to be able to start and play college football.
How did you hear about the National Scouting Combine? From a friend of mine that attended last year.
Why did you choose the National Scouting Combine? I chose the National Scouting Combine because it’s one of the best-organized events to help make my pro ball dreams a reality.
I want to show that while I may not have the ideal size, I have the heart, consistency, and work ethic to compete at a high level and show up every day ready to perform.

If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why? If I could make a positive impact on society, it would be by inspiring others to believe in themselves and work hard to achieve their goals. I believe that with the right mindset and effort, anyone can overcome obstacles and succeed, and I want to encourage people to never give up on their dreams.
What is something unique about you that people would find interesting? Something unique about me is that I enjoy stargazing. It’s a peaceful way for me relax.
If you had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, what sport would you choose? If I had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, it would be baseball. It was my first love, and I enjoy the strategic process of the game. Plus, not everyone can hit a small ball traveling at high speeds, which makes it both challenging and rewarding.
Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or “pay it forward” in your community? My church give out food plates around Christmas time. Also we host little events for the kids in the community that’s free of charge.
