Achievements: (awards, honors, notable accomplishments, etc.…)

First Team All-CIAA (2024-2025). 2nd Longest Punt in school history (73 yarder)

How’d you end up at your current school? What was the recruiting process like?

Attending an HBCU was on my list because of the history behind each one. Attending VUU was a nearby HBCU to my home, although majority of my family attended Virginia State (A nearby HBCU rivaled VUU). My father always told me how tough Virginia Union was in football, which attracted me even more.

What gives you an advantage over other athletes at your position?

Being able to be versatile and show off your true leg strength.

What does being a student of a game mean to you?

It means learning and always intaking knowledge so that way you can perform at even greater heights than ever before. Studying returns and blocking styles can help you pay attention to key details so that you can follow through with your job of placing the ball in position for your teammates to make the tackle.

How does being a (insert your position) reflect itself in your personal life?

When people first see me, they don’t expect me to be a punter based off my physique. It also helps me pay attention to detail and consistency. If you don’t have those it will be hard to succeed.

How would you describe your work ethic?

I describe my work ethic as simple but gets the job done. I work hard and have never quit on anything that I have started. I push myself to be the best punter/player that I can be.

What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff?

To stay true to yourself and be consistent with what you do. I always tell myself to be disciplined and hard-working, so those fall into line with what my previous coach taught me.

What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

My biggest accomplishment would be winning back championships at my university as well as holding the second longest punt in school history.

How did you hear about the National Scouting Combine?

My coach had mentioned it to me in fall camp.

Why did you choose the National Scouting Combine?

I feel as if they have great exposure for athletes who want to seek the next level, and this is one of the best opportunities to.

What do you hope to show people at the combine?

I hope to show people that punters are people too, as well as a black punter who can compete at any level of football.

What was your Major? (Delete if you do not have a collegiate background)

Computer Information Systems.

If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?

It would be bringing mental health to attention at an early age. I feel like many people deal with mental health issues on a daily basis and it would be very important to emphasis this early in age so that people can be aware ahead of time.

What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

I have built my own PC, from part to part at the age of 14.

If you had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, what sport would you choose?

I would choose E-Sports

Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or “pay it forward” in your community?

Yes, I am currently involved in a social fraternity called Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. I am also the chapter president and have been leading 8 men to succeed as far as community service around the city of Richmond and hosting events on campus.
