Q: Tell us about your high school career and what the recruiting process has been like thus far.
A: I just finished my freshman year. I was promoted to Varsity during the playoffs. I received a few letters and camp invites but no official offers.
Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?
A:Being invited to several Invitational Track Meets as a freshman and making it to districts and regionals for the 4×400 and 300m and making to Varsity Football at the end of our season. Our freshman team played mostly JV teams and we only lost one game this season.
Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at your school?
A: You are a student before you are and athlete. Coach Webb
Q: What have you learned during this unique time in 2020? What did you focus on or accomplish during Quarantine?
A: No matter what’s going on you can always improve and work on your craft. I got bigger because I lifted and worked out daily.
Q: If you could play in college, what would you choose to major in? What are your plans if football doesn’t work out?
A: I am going to major in Engineering. If I can’t play football, I will design cars.
Q: What would your current teammates say about you and your qualities?
A: I show up ready to work.
Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career so far?
A: During rec league, I scored the game winning touchdown allowing us to advance to next round in the playoffs.
Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?
A: Trying to train during COVID and not knowing if I will be playing football this year.
Q: If you could compare yourself to a collegiate or pro athlete, who would that be and why?
A: DeAndre Hopkins because we have the same build and similar skill set.
Q: What is your biggest strength and why should college coaches & scouts consider you?
A: My hands are my biggest attribute. I’m tall but I’m fast. My GPA is solid and I am a good student athlete.
Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?
A: As a team we volunteer to help with community events.
Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 High School National Scouting Combine and what are your goals for the combine?
A: I have worked and conditioned with a trainer for the past few month. I have ran routes and practiced with my QB.
Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?
A: Getting drafted to the NFL and playing in the league.
Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football? Do you play other sports?
A: I run track and play soccer. I enjoy video games and hanging out with my friends.
Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?
A: My parents because they take me to all my sporting events and support me.
Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?
A: I went to private school until I was in 2nd grade. At 5, I could name every book in the Bible.
