Q: Tell us about your high school career and what the recruiting process has been like thus far.
A: My high school career has been good so far. I have learned a lot and I have started to make an impact when I am on the field. As a freshman, I was able to play on the JV and Varsity football teams. My recruiting process has just begun and I am now attending camps and combines.

Q: When did you receive your first offer and what school was it from? How many offers have you received thus far?
A: Currently, I do not have any offers but I am working hard as I can to get offers.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?
A: With the opportunities that I had, my biggest accomplishment in my sports career, so far, is being top 10 on the tackle list for my Varsity football team, as a freshman.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at your school?
A: One of the important things I got from my coaches is to be a great student athlete. Education first, football second. This pushes me to maintain my 4.0 GPA.

Q: What have you learned during this unique time in 2020? What did you focus on or accomplish during Quarantine?
A: I have learned not to take things for granted. I have also learned that the football season is not guaranteed and how to adjust to changes. I focused and accomplished gaining weight and putting it on as muscle over this quarantine. I also focused on watching a lot of film to improve myself.

Q: If you could play in college, what would you choose to major in? What are your plans if football doesn’t work out?
A: When I go to college, I will major in mathematics or accounting. If football does not work out, I want to become an accountant and gain my CPA.

Q: What would your current teammates say about you and your qualities?
A: My teammates have said I have an amazing work ethic and I am always uplifting the team. I am a team player that keeps the energy high no matter the situation.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career so
far?
A: I was on a kick off, got tripped, and got back up to make a vital tackle on the returner. I think this is one of my most memorable plays because it shows my determination not to give up on a play. I have no quit in me.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?
A: My biggest challenge so far, as a player, is making it on the Varsity team and acquiring a spot in the first string to get playing time. I did it by working insanely hard on the field, in the film room, in the weight room, and in school.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a collegiate or pro athlete, who would that be and why?
A: I compare myself to Ray Lewis because of his dedication to the game to be the best linebacker of all time.

Q: What is your biggest strength and why should college coaches & scouts consider you?
A: My biggest strength is my football IQ and my ability to comprehend what I see on film and translate it to the field. College scouts should consider me because of how quickly I take in and understand what a coach tells me. I am very coachable.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?
A: Yes, I previously tutored kids who needed help in multiple subjects after school. I have completed 20+ hours of community service while I was in the National Honor Society.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 High School National Scouting Combine and what are your goals for the combine?
A: I have been working out constantly to improve my speed and agility. My goals are to set the best times to get the attention of scouts.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?
A: My ultimate achievement is to make it to the NFL, which will allow me to give back to my community.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football? Do you play other sports?
A: I enjoy being with my friends and family. I play basketball occasionally. I love to listen to music and dance.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?
A: If I had to choose one person, it would be my dad. He taught me my work ethic, to give one hundred percent in everything I do. He taught me to love myself and to love others. He has been my coach, mentor, and role model that has and will continue to be there throughout my football journey.
