Q: Tell us about your high school career and what the recruiting process has been like thus far.

A: My high school career has begun better than any rising junior could wish for. I’ve been a part of two consecutive AAA State Champion Teams and my school is currently in second place in the nation with the longest win streak of 56 consecutive games. The recruiting process has been non existent this far but I look forward to changing that this year.

Q: When did you receive your first offer and what school was it from? How many offers have you received thus far?

A: I haven’t received any offers just yet.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: My biggest accomplishment in my sports career so far has been defining the true meaning of a student athlete. I have a 4.1 core g.p.a entering my junior season. Books over balls!

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at your school?

A: Hard work beats talent any day. You must outwork everyone in the room.

Q: What have you learned during this unique time in 2020? What did you focus on or accomplish during Quarantine?

A: What I’ve learned during 2020 is that I can only worry about what I can control. I focused on staying ready by getting stronger, faster and developing my agility.

Q: If you could play in college, what would you choose to major in? What are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A: At the age of 16 there’s so many things I would like to do with my life so its hard to list one major but if football doesn’t work out I would love to work in the sports medicine field. For example, an athletic trainer or physical therapist.

Q: What would your current teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: My work ethic is second to none. I am always prepared

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career so far?

A: That’s a tough one

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: My biggest challenge so far has been continuing to please my parents with scholar grades and I manage it by knowing they always have my back.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a collegiate or pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A: No one. I am Braxton Todd and I aim to stamp and leave my own impression on the game.

Q: What is your biggest strength and why should college coaches & scouts consider you?

A: My biggest strength is the moto that I live by, Philippians 4:13. “ I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME ’’ My work ethic is second to known and I’m a student of the game. I lead by example and leave no doubt in my opponents.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?

A: As of now I am not involved in mentoring or a charity. I pay it forward leading by example for my two siblings.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 High School National Scouting Combine and what are your goals for the combine?

A: I have been training twice a day for the past 3 months. I train out of Winchester,Va at FASST Sports Performance. My goals for the National Combine is to rise my stock in recruiting by posting impressive numbers and allowing my drills and skills to speak for themselves.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A: My ultimate achievement would be making my parents proud by earning a full scholarship to a credited University while also playing the game I love so much.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football? Do you play other sports?

A: I enjoying working out and studying the body. I like to keep a small circle because its less distractions. I play basketball here and there with my little brother and friends.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: My parents have been the most influential people in my life. Everyday they choose to get up and make it happen for myself and siblings. They are hard working and 100% lead by example of showing what a true work ethic is about. I love my mother and father.

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

A: I have the best singing voice around…LoL.
