About Sean

What was the most important thing you learned during your career?

What I learned in my career was to always stay positive and to outwork the competition. When I first came into West Chester I was stuck at 5th strength QB. By the second year I was a backup. By my red-shirt sophomore year I had beat out the 4 in front of me for the starting spot.

What qualities do you possess that makes you a candidate for a professional contract?

I am driven to improve every day. I am never satisfied and know there is room for improvement. I have a very competitive nature and want to win at all cost. I am very committed and focus on an off the field. I am also very confident in myself and know that I have what it takes to play at the next level.

What motivates you on and off the field?

On the field I would say my competitors. I want to be perfect on the field and be the best. Off the field it’s the people around me that say I can’t do something. This motivates me to work hard and go out every day and prove people wrong.

What was your major and why did you choose to study that field?

My major was health and nutrition. I chose this field because it was something of my interest. This major taught me to become a healthier person and helped me on the football field to be in the best shape I could possibly be.

What is your best asset as an athlete and why will it make you successful at the next level?

My best asset would be the way I carry myself on the field and my accuracy. I am very calm and do not get rattled easily. Being calm helps me as a QB to make the correct reads, lead the team and put the team in the best position to win. My second is my ability to be accurate with throws. This allows me to put the ball threw tight windows and put the ball in the best position for the receiver to catch the ball.

What are your plans for a post football career?

My career plans after football are to use my degree in health and nutrition to work in my family’s healthcare business. In this business I will work in the food /dinning aspect of the business using my knowledge in nutrition preparing food for patients and managing a facility.
