[LAS. VEGAS, NV. – December 10, 2024] — The X League, representing America’s No. 1 sport of Football and its entry into women’s sports, announces a historic and groundbreaking partnership with the National Scouting Combine as its ‘Official Scouting & Football Combine Partner.’ The partnership marks a monumental step in establishing the first-ever female-centric Women’s Football initiative in assessing talent and the game’s first-ever global scouting service and database. Women’s American Football, which includes both Tackle and Flag Football, has become one of the fastest-growing participation sports in the United States, and the X League is positioned as the destination league for both formats of play, becoming the aspirational league for millions of female athletes worldwide.
Thousands of female athletes are playing Tackle and Flag Football in Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Italy, Spain, Brazil, and many other countries. Together, the X League and National Scouting Combine will host combines across the United States, with plans to expand internationally to the United Kingdom and Germany as the X League introduces international league play. Recognized as the premiere Tier 1 destination league for Tackle and Flag Football, the X League spearheads the sport’s first-ever global development program. This initiative aims to identify, track, and cultivate female talent from youth through adulthood, creating a pathway for athletes to reach the highest levels of competition.

The inaugural X League Combine, produced by the National Scouting Combine, will be held in Tampa, Florida, on Saturday, May 17. Open to all female athletes aspiring to play at the highest level, this event will mark the first of many combines and the beginning of an exciting new era in Women’s Football.
