How’d you end up at your current school? What was the recruiting process like?
I ended up at Kansas Wesleyan University by a coach name of Coach Lewis on the staff hitting me up on a recruiting app for athletes. The recruiting process was great actually because Coach Lewis showed a lot of love and kept in touch all the time.
What gives you an advantage over other athletes?
What separates me from other prospects at my Position (Defensive Back )is my football IQ. Being able to be aware of what’s going on the field and being able to know what play is coming from studying film. I have been through a lot in my life so the game has always been 90% mental and 10% physical.
What does being a student of a game mean to you?
Being a student of the game means to me is like being a student in the classroom. It’s like studying for a test, doing homework, and knowing the material well. For instance Translate this to the game as in watch film know what’s coming (Homework), Know the person/ team you about to go against their flaws/ strengths( Material), Game day is the (Test) you either pass the test(Win ) or Fail (Lose).
How does being a defensive back reflect itself in your personal life?
Being a Cornerback reflects itself a lot in my personal life. First it taught me to fight adversity even when things bad stand on all 10 toes no matter what. Also, taught me to be aware of what’s going on at all times . Being able to react to things quick and having a IQ of the situation that’s going on.
How would you describe your work ethic?
Hardworking, discipline, accountable, and dedication
What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff?
I would say being patient and just let everything come together that you worked hard for. Basically God timing there’s nothing like God timing.
What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?
My biggest accomplishment would be beating rank teams and being conference champs 3x in my career.

I heard about the National Scouting Combine through Twitter.
Why did you choose the National Scouting Combine?
I chose the National Scouting Combine because I wanted a chance to prove myself and to see what doors will open for me at the next level.
What do you hope to show people at the combine?
That an athlete from a small school can do as much as an athlete from bigger schools.
What was your Major?
Bachelors Degree(Sports Management) and Masters Degree (MBA) in Business.
Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?
My mom is been the most influential person in my life.She is my biggest supporter no matter what the occasion is.
If not football, then what?
I will pursue in my career because I have 2 degrees but it’s truly wherever God leads me.
If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?
I would start a a Homeless shelter/ Rehab center for the homeless because some people grew up homeless and some didn’t . The people that didn’t but did some wrong in their life deserve a second chance at life. Everybody deserve a second chance!
What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?
Something unique about me would be that I have a daughter. A lot of people find that interesting about me.
If you had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, what sport would you choose?
It would be track because I was actually good in high school at the sport.
Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or ”pay it forward” in your community?
Yes I mentor/coach a youth football team. Memphis Wolfpack is a little league team and I love coaching/mentoring the (6u) kids.
