TopDraft Named as a NIL Education Partner of the National Scouting Combine

The National Scouting Combine is proud to welcome TopDraft as a NIL Education Partner, providing athletes with education, guidance, and insight as they navigate today’s evolving Name, Image, and Likeness landscape.

TopDraft brings a development-first approach that prioritizes long-term growth, strategic exposure, and athlete education — aligning closely with the National Scouting Combine’s mission of preparing athletes for opportunities beyond the field.

A Strategic Approach to Athlete Exposure

TopDraft creates exposure with purpose, placing athletes in front of the right decision-makers rather than relying on random visibility. Their approach focuses on alignment between athletes and college coaches, professional scouts, NIL brands, and media outlets that match an athlete’s position, goals, and long-term direction.

Athletes working with TopDraft receive professional-level branding support, including highlight reel and game film strategy, social media positioning, and authentic personal brand storytelling that extends beyond statistics.

Strong Industry Relationships That Create Opportunity

TopDraft leverages established relationships across college programs (Division I–III, JUCO, and prep), professional scouts, overseas markets, NIL collectives, and corporate sponsors. These relationships help create access to meaningful opportunities well beyond a single event.

Exposure with TopDraft is designed to be ongoing, supported through showcases, digital platforms, and direct outreach that allows athletes to remain visible as they continue to develop.

Education and Support Beyond the Field

TopDraft places a strong emphasis on educating athletes in areas critical to long-term success. This includes guidance on mental performance and pressure management, financial literacy, time management, professionalism, and NIL education.

Athletes also learn how to evaluate NIL opportunities, understand contract basics, build sustainable personal brands, and protect their name, image, and future.

Exclusive Opportunities and a Family-First Approach

TopDraft provides athletes with access to select showcases, workouts, events, and brand-related opportunities when available. The organization operates with a family-oriented mindset, maintaining open communication with athletes and their families while offering guidance that extends beyond athletics alone.

This approach ensures athletes are supported as people, not treated as transactions.

Leadership Presence and On-Site Engagement

TopDraft Founder and CEO Emeka Igwe brings hands-on leadership and athlete advocacy to the partnership, reinforcing TopDraft’s commitment to NIL education and responsible athlete development.

TopDraft Partner King Marcus Glover will also be on site at this year’s National Scouting Combine. A Philadelphia high school football Hall of Fame inductee, Glover is a former standout athlete who went on to play at West Virginia University, including competing in the 1989 Gator Bowl against Clemson, held in Jacksonville, Florida. His experience at both the high school and collegiate levels adds valuable perspective and mentorship for athletes attending the event.

A Shared Commitment to Athlete Education

As a NIL Education Partner, TopDraft will share NIL-related insights across National Scouting Combine social media platforms and be present on site throughout this year’s combine.

Together, both organizations remain focused on preparing athletes with the education, awareness, and tools needed to make informed decisions and pursue long-term success.
