Q: Tell us about your college career and what the recruiting process was like. Why did you choose Rockford University?

A: Coming out of high school I had zero offers for football. I was a two sport athlete in high school, I played basketball & football. I had a few juco offers for basketball but I chose to take the football route. My college career had a lot of ups & downs. I started off at College of Dupage, which is a juco. I applied to the school & walked-on. After a semester I decided to leave COD to give myself a better opportunity to showcase my abilities. I chose to attend Rockford University, a small private D3 school about 2 hours or so from Chicago. During my four years at Rockford University I progressed every year adding more & more tools to my game. By the time I left school I was arguably the best WR to ever play at Rockford University. I hold multiple records for the school & the NACC conference.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: My biggest accomplishment of my career was during my junior year of college. One of my goals before the season was to break the record for the most touchdowns in a season. The previous record was 9, I ended up breaking the record in the last game of the season with 10.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at Rockford University?

A: One of the most important things I learned from my coaching staff while in college is dealing with adversity. Not just with sports but life too. You live & you learn. Always remain focus on your goals/dreams/aspirations & try to keep a positive attitude. Cherish every moment whether it’s good or bad.

Q: What was your major and what are your plans if football didn’t work out?

A: My major in college was Sports Management with a minor in Athletic Training. If football don’t work out I want to coach or train kids in all sports.

Q: What would your teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: My teammates would say that I’m a cool/laid back type guy until I step on a football field. Then my passion & competitive nature overwhelms me. I want nothing but your best & I’m hungry to be the best. I hold myself accountable & I expect my teammates to do the same.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: My biggest challenge is dealing with everyday life. Life is a non-stop roller coaster! I try my best to embrace all of the challenges that I face as motivation whether it’s good or bad. Keeping God first & having a great family that supports me is how I manage it.

Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?

A: My biggest strength that I could bring to a professional team is my work ethic/competitive attitude. I let my game speak for itself. All scouts should consider me because I’m your prototypical WR… I can run every route in the route tree, I’m 6’4, athletic, physical, & most important consistent.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: The most important people in my life is God & my family. But my mom is the most influential person in my life. She’s my everything! I wouldn’t be the man I am today without her. I’m forever grateful to have her in my life.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?

A: No not as of now but I plan on doing so.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2019 National Scouting Combine and what were your expectations?

A: I’m training on my own as of now to prepare for the National Scouting Combine. Lifting weights, building explosiveness/speed, stretching daily & putting the right nutrients in my body. I expect to show up & show out. This is a once in a life time opportunity for me so I have to make the most out of it.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A: The ultimate achievement for me is to sign my first professional contract after attending the National Scouting Combine.
