How’d you end up at your current school? What was the recruiting process like?

I ended up at Millersville University after entering the transfer portal following my sophomore season. Upon entering the transfer portal Millersville was one of the first teams to reach out to me. The first thing to lock me in at Millersville was them having my major. Something else that helped was that a few of my former high school teammates were playing at Millersville at the time, so it was nice to be able to join a team where I already knew a few of the guys.

What gives you an advantage over other athletes at wide receiver?

My advantage at receiver over athletes is my versatility and IQ. Playbooks have never given me an issue, so I am able to quickly learn entire offenses which allows me to play at any position and do it successfully without having to necessarily think about what route I need to run.

What does being a student of a game mean to you?

Being a student of the game means studying everything there is to know about your position, offenses/defenses as a whole, as well as your individual opponents. I think it is very important for me to study great receivers and see what they do to prepare and be able to implement that into my own preparation. I also think it is important to understand the game as a whole and understand offensive and defensive schematics in order to put yourself in the best position to succeed. Last but not least, when it comes time for in season film study, I think it is vital to watch your individual opponents and study them for tendencies and use those to manipulate them to get yourself open.

How does being a wide receiver  reflect itself in your personal life?

Being a receiver reflects itself into my personal life every day. As I mentioned in the previous question, I like to understand football and what is going on at all levels in order to put myself in the best position to succeed. I carry this same approach into my life, I want to learn the best ways to put myself in position to allow myself to live the lifestyle that I want and be able to eventually provide for my family one day.

How would you describe your work ethic?

My work ethic is one like no other. I pride myself on working for the things that I want in life. My main goal right now is to get paid to play the game that I love, so I am going to do whatever it takes to make that happen.

What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff?

Relating back to my previous question, my head coach at Millersville would always say, “The football gods reward hustle.” This stuck with me and gave me a little extra motivation to continue to work harder and harder everyday towards my goals.

What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

My biggest accomplishment of my sports career so far would have to be being a part of the program turn around at Millersville. I am big on leaving things better than I found them, and I would think it is safe to say that I played a good part in changing things at Millersville.

How did you hear about the National Scouting Combine?

I heard about the National Scouting Combine through Chad Clark. Chad has been a family friend for quite some time, and he is one that knows how hard I have had to work in order to get where I am, so he saw this as a great opportunity to showcase just how hard I have worked.

Why did you choose the National Scouting Combine?

I chose the National Scouting Combine because it is a great opportunity for me to put down some impressive numbers that will surely catch scouts eyes and increase my chances at making it to the next level.

What do you hope to show people at the combine?

I hope to show people how physically prepared I am to take my talents to the next level. At my position I feel as if I have the speed to get it done, and my jumping ability as well as my strength are substantial for the receiver position.

What was your Major?

 My major was Sports Medicine.

Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

The most influential person in my life would have to be my grandfather who passed away in 2016 from a long battle with cancer. From the time I was born until his passing he always showed me to never give up and he did just that. He is my biggest source of motivation today, and I know if he was still alive he would be my #1 supporter.

If not football, then what?

If not football, I would work towards owning my own training facility. I would like to have my own spot where I can help young athletes develop their game into a professional level. I would love to be able to not only address the strength and conditioning side of things, but also dietary as well as holistic things in order to best provide these kids with a chance at becoming their best selves.

If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?

If I could make a positive impact on all of society, it would be to embrace happiness. I feel that today’s world is far too negative and in ways can suck the life out of us. If the world was an overall happier place, I think it would increase overall living qualities.

What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

Something unique about me is that I was able to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in science, while being a student athlete and maintaining over a 3.0 GPA throughout my college career.  I think this is substantial because both require a lot of hard work, time, and dedication in order to succeed at.

If you had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, what sport would you choose?

Another sport that I would consider playing professionally would be basketball. Had I been a bit taller maybe I would have pursued it, but football is my true passion.

Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or ”pay it forward” in your community?

I have not been in a position where I felt I could effectively give back to charity, but it is something I hope to get started with soon!
