Q: How did you get started playing football? My uncle Shawn Whitley got me involved to come out an tryout for a team he was coaching.

Q: What separates you from all the other athletes trying to become a professional? My work ethic an my will to compete an get back up win or loss. I will never settle for a losing weather it be a rep or a game.

Q: Tell us about your college choice, career and what the recruiting process was like.

I was not highly recruited out of High school  and I wanted to play at the highest level possible I could. I was listed as a Role down safety position in High school at the Rover position which I was kinda undersized for but I was offered by some NAIA schools but was offered a walk on spot at a D2 school, and ended up walking on an playing corner back for Quincy university and broke INT records for the conference an school as well as earning a scholar ship.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far? I Braking  the school single season an career record for the the D2 conference GLVC with 14 ints in my career an single season school record with 7ints in a season. Also being named d2 hero sports all American an Don Hansen all American coming from a D2 school where kids usually dint get recognized.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff?  Discipline & that life will hit you with adversity an how you handle it.

Q: What is/was your biggest challenge and how do/did you manage it?  Have to say my transition to cornerback position, I had never played it in high school but picked up so much info an converting to corner.

Q: What is your biggest strength or X factor that you bring to a professional team? Ability to make plays everywhere, either catching a interception making a guy fumble or throwing a nice block on special teams.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life? My father Alex Murray & Mom Traci Brown

Q: What are your goals with football? If football does not work out, then what? My goal is to be the best version of me and being a TOP corner in the NFL. If Football does not workout, I am a student of the game that can help others reach there Dream.

Q: How did you prepare for the National Scouting Combine and what are your expectations? Worked with my personal trainer after graduating at semester & I want to show scouts that I am fast enough to hang with whoever an what I display on my film can be done at any lever D1, NFL, D3, D2 I will produce

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement? Helping my team win

Q: If you have to compare yourself to a current pro player, who would it be?

I’m 5’11 & 195  so it would be corner like Malcom butler & joe Haden play style type I have good feet an ball skills to make turnovers.
