How’d you end up at your current school? What was the recruiting process like?

I had a crazy recruiting process I was a 3star under the radar recruit I went to TCU out of highschool for 3yrs played my first 4 games as a freshman started all special teams my last 2 years then transferred out during Covid season attended Kilgore college I grew as a player and individual through my juco career and landed at Monticello Arkansas.

What gives you an advantage over other athletes at your position?

I play with a chip on my shoulder with something to prove I love this game with a passion and will sacrifice my body to help my team win at any cost, my advantage lies in my versatility and adaptability on the field. I can seamlessly transition between playing as a traditional safety and covering receivers, while also being able to step up and defend against the run. My agility, speed, and quick decision-making skills allow me to effectively read the offense and make impactful plays. Also, my ability tocommunicate and coordinate with the rest of the defense helps us work together as a cohesive unit.

What does being a student of a game mean to you?

Being a student of the game of football means immersing yourself in the sport completely, constantly seeking knowledge and understanding. It’s about studying the small things in the game, analyzing plays, and learning from the successes and failures of both yourself and other players. As a student of the game, you‘re always looking to improve your skills, expand your IQ, and stay ahead of the competition. It’s a passion for the game that drives me to continuously learn, adapt, and grow as a player. It’s an exciting journey of discovery and improvement that fuels my love for football!

How does being a (hybrid safety) reflect itself in your personal life? I feel like I’m a jack of all trades I can be put anywhere in any situation and adapt vice versa In my personal life I’m dependable and always there for my love ones and true friends.

How would you describe your work ethic?

I would describe my work ethic as relentless, disciplined, and determined. I give my all in every practice, training session, and game. I push myself to constantly improve my skills, physical fitness, and mental toughness. I understand the importance of teamwork and strive to be a reliable and supportive teammate. I’m always willing toput in the extra effort and go above and beyond to achieve success on the field. Football is not just a game to me; it’s a passion, and I approach it with unwavering dedication and a strong work ethic.

They taught me the importance of communication, trust, and supporting each other both on and off the field. They instilled in me the belief that we are stronger together and that success comes from working as a unit. It’s a lesson that has stuck with me throughout my football journey.

We just try tobrighten up the kids day for school.
