How’d you end up at your current school? What was the recruiting process like?

My QB from Clemson, Taisun Phommachahn, was the starter and convince me to come because at Clemson we use to always do extra work learning the playbook and getting better in our craft.

What gives you an advantage over other athletes at your position?

I’m versatile. I’m a dominant blocker and even more dominant in the pass game running routes with my Wide Out background.

What does being a student of a game mean to you?

Always willing to learn, get better, do extra, and study. Learn fundamentals, new moves and practice them to perfect it, techniques, defensive pictures. Always want to be better because hard work will always beat talent. Do extra to know you know and not think you know. It’ll make you play faster. Always studying tendencies that can help you.

How does being a Tight End reflect itself in your personal life?

Being a Tight End reflects in my personal life on how we’re looked upon to do everything. We must be able to block but also run routes, get open, and catch the ball. A lot of people over the years counted on me to do a lot. I either knew how to do it or taught myself to help others.

How would you describe your work ethic?

I would describe my work ethic as determined and focused. I’m always working on how can I get better.

What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff?

Most important thing I’ve learned from coaching is technique.

What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

My biggest accomplishment is being able to learn a lot over my year and pass it along to the upcoming HS athletes..

How did you hear about the National Scouting Combine?

Why did you choose the National Scouting Combine?

I wanted to show more of my ability than I was able to in college.

What do you hope to show people at the combine?

I’m a very versatile and athletic TE that can do it all. Show that I am a steal in this upcoming Draft. Even though I was in offenses that lack use of the TE in the offenses, I can be a valuable weapon in the run and pass game.

What was your Major?

Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice with a Athletic Leadership Minor from Clemson ‘22

Master’s of Sciences in Business Analytics (MSBA May ’25)

If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?

Affordable housing. I feel that being able to live somewhere where it fits your budget and can let you have a sense of comfort and security can be the start of a foundation on reaching goals.

What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

I call myself the “Swiss Army Knife of Life” because I have so many trades that I’ve learned. Trades like building, car mechanical work, barbering, cooking, drawing, and pretty good at video games.

If you had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, what sport would you choose?

Basketball because in my recruitment in high school, I’ve had some some schools come watch me play and wanted me to play both at their schools.

Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or “pay it forward” in your community?

Yes I mentor young athletes over the metropolitan area of Atlanta and also through social media. Any young athlete can message me and ask questions and advice and I’m always open. I also tutor students as well.
