How’d you end up at your current school? What was the recruiting process like?
I ended up at Western Oregon after transferring from the University of Oregon to switch
from playing DB to WR. The recruiting process was amazing. I originally signed and committed to Western Oregon right out of High School but was switched over last minute to walk-on at University of Oregon.
What gives you an advantage over other athletes at your position?
I would say my physicality and knowledge of DB are my strongest advantages.
What does being a student of a game mean to you?
Being a student of the game, to me means sacrifice. Being an athlete at any level requires a lot of sacrifices and if you want to be successful it will require even more.
How does being a Wide Receiver reflect itself in your personal life?
It reflects in my personal life because as a receiver and a man you have to either avoid,
attack, or run through obstacles in your life that may try to stop you from your goal.
How would you describe your work ethic?
It has no limit, I may get tired but the work will not stop.
What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching
staff?
That the true success of a team comes from the players, the coaches made me a captain
and challenged me to change our team’s dynamic so we can be more successful.
What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?
I would say my biggest accomplishment would be becoming the player that the entire team
trusted and believed in because having that support made me a better player and leader.
How did you hear about the National Scouting Combine?
I heard about the Combine through a scout (Michael Martenson) who reached out to me on
X after he attended a game he thought I performed really well at.
Why did you choose the National Scouting Combine?
I chose this combine because it was the only opportunity I heard about after my season
ended, and I hear it is also one of the best combines after the NFL combine.
What do you hope to show people at the combine?
I hope to show people what I can do on/off the field for their organization as well as bring
attention back to football in the state of Oregon.
What was your Major?
I majored in Community Health, with a minor in Communication Studies.
If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?
I would open resource centers in lower income and underprivileged communities that are
often forgotten about by their cities. I would do this because a lot of people in our
communities go a long period of time without the basic resources to help sustain some kind
of stability in their lives. It is the reason I got into the community health field as a major.
What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?
I am not the most decorated athlete in my family, My sister is currently the most decorated.
If you had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, what sport would you
choose?
I would play basketball, I played basketball all my life and even won a state championship
my senior year of high school.
Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or “pay it forward” in your
community?
Yes, every summer I work basketball camps and football camps with youth and high
schoolers to help teach the game, and recently I have gone to schools to talk and engage
with students who went through the same program I went through.
