How’d you end up at your current school? What was the recruiting process like?
My journey has had its twists and turns. I started out playing Division II basketball at Goldey-Beacom College for two years. In 2021, I transferred to Delaware Valley University to focus on football. In 2023, I made another move to Virginia Union University, but ultimately, I found my way back to DelVal in 2024. Each step taught me something new, and returning to DelVal feels like coming home to finish what I started.
What gives you an advantage over other athletes at your position?
My versatility, football IQ, and work ethic set me apart. I combine speed, strength, and explosiveness with a deep understanding of the game. I’ve faced challenges, but my resilience and determination give me the edge over others at my position.
What does being a student of a game mean to you?
Being a student of the game means constantly learning and improving. It’s studying film, understanding schemes, recognizing tendencies, and mastering the small details that give me an edge. It’s about being coachable, staying disciplined, and always finding ways to elevate my performance. To me, it’s a mindset—never being satisfied and always striving to be better.
How does being a WR reflect itself in your personal life?
Being a wide receiver reflects itself in my personal life by teaching me the importance of focus, discipline, and teamwork. On the field, I have to stay sharp, communicate effectively, and always be ready to adapt to any situation. Off the field, those same qualities—staying disciplined, working toward my goals, and being accountable—translate into my everyday life. Whether it’s in my role as a mentor, a CEO, or a substitute teacher, I approach everything with the same mindset I have as a wide receiver: always working hard, staying prepared, and striving for excellence.
How would you describe your work ethic?
My work ethic is relentless. I’m disciplined, consistent, and always looking for ways to improve, whether it’s on the field, in the gym, or studying film. I push myself to go the extra mile because I know success comes from outworking the competition and staying committed to the process.
What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff?
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned from the coaching staff is the importance of being a better man and father. They’ve shown me that leadership on the field starts with integrity and responsibility off the field. Being accountable, showing respect, and prioritizing family are key to success in every aspect of life.
What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?
My biggest accomplishment has been making it this far in my career after playing since the age of 4. The journey has been long, with plenty of ups and downs, but my passion and dedication have kept me going. Reaching this point is a testament to the hard work and sacrifices I’ve made along the way.
How did you hear about the National Scouting Combine? Coach P from VUU was actually the one who introduced me to the National Scouting Combine. He recognized my potential and encouraged me to take advantage of every opportunity to showcase my skills.
Why did you choose the National Scouting Combine?
I chose the National Scouting Combine because it’s an incredible platform to showcase my skills and get noticed by scouts at the next level. With the guidance of Coach P, I saw it as an opportunity to test myself against top talent and prove my readiness for the NFL. It’s a chance to not only demonstrate my physical abilities but also my mental toughness and ability to handle pressure.
What do you hope to show people at the combine?
I hope to show people my physical and mental readiness. I want to demonstrate my speed, strength, and versatility, but also my ability to make smart decisions under pressure and learn quickly. I aim to prove that I have what it takes to contribute at the next level—both as a player and as a leader.
What was your Major?
Interdisciplinary Studies
If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?
Being a kid from Atlantic City, I would want to show others from my community that no matter where you come from, you can achieve greatness. There’s so much talent and potential in places that are often overlooked, and I want to inspire others to push beyond their circumstances, work hard, and believe in themselves. If I can make it from Atlantic City, I want others to see that they can too, and that their dreams are within reach with dedication and resilience.
What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?
Something unique about me is my journey through multiple sports and schools. I started playing basketball at a young age, then transitioned to football while balancing academics and personal growth along the way. The experiences of transferring between schools—Goldey-Beacom, Virginia Union, and DelVal—have given me a diverse perspective, making me adaptable and resilient in ways others might not expect. This versatility both on and off the field has shaped who I am today.
If you had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, what sport would you choose?
If I had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, I’d choose basketball. I grew up playing it and developed a love for the game. The athleticism, strategy, and teamwork involved in basketball are things I really enjoy. Plus, I feel like my skills on the court would translate well to the pro level, and it would be amazing to compete against some of the best players in the world.
Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or “pay it forward” in your community?
Yes, I’m actively involved in giving back to my community. As the CEO of an AAU travel basketball nonprofit program, I work to provide opportunities for young athletes to grow both on and off the court. I also serve as a substitute teacher in the elementary schools, where I’m able to make a positive impact on the younger generation, helping shape their education and life skills. Giving back is a core part of who I am, and I’m always looking for ways to inspire and support my community.
