Q: Tell us about your high school career and what the recruiting process has been like thus far.

A: Freshman year I did not play football, Sophomore year I started JV at wideout and had a lot of success. The recruiting process has been a struggle because I’m just trying to get my name out there and stand out from other players in my class.

Q: When did you receive your first offer and what school was it from? How many offers have you received thus far?

A: I have not received any offers yet.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at your school?

A: In practice, you have to compete to the best of your ability so in the game everything you learned and prepared for will be easy to read and easy to adjust.

Q: What have you learned during this unique time in 2020? What did you focus on or accomplish during Quarantine?

A: I learned you cannot take anything for granted because you won’t know how much something means to you until it is gone.

Q: If you could play in college, what would you choose to major in? What are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A: I would major in law or psychology. My plans are to be an attorney and a psychologist if football doesn’t work out.

Q: What would your current teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: They would say that I am always ready for a challenge and I love to compete against people that are as good or better than me.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career so far?

A: When I scored my first touchdown of the 2019-20 season. It was a 51yd touchdown pass.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: My biggest challenge has been being consistent with whatever I do. I managed it by breaking old habits and replacing them with new ones that will make me a better person and player.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a collegiate or pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A:  I would compare myself to Michael Jordan because of his competitive nature and mentality when playing sports.

Q: What is your biggest strength and why should college coaches & scouts consider you?

A: My biggest strength is my determination to get better as a player. Colleges coaches and scouts should consider me because I want to be the best player that I know I can become and won’t settle for anything I am not satisfied with.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?

A: I was involved in a mentoring program at my school and us mentors went the local middle school and would give them advice about the responsibility and focus it takes to be successful in high school.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 High School National Scouting Combine and what are your goals for the combine?

A: I have been speed training and lifting weights 2 hours a day 5 days a week. My goals are to run a sub 4.5 40 and at least a 9ft broad jump.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A: Getting drafted to the NFL.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football? Do you play other sports?

A: When I’m not playing football, I like to read and watch movies. I play basketball and track as well.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: My brother Maurice because we always have deep conversations about our futures and how we can become successful at what we love doing. He always motivates me to become the version of myself that I can become and be hungry for more success.

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

A: I’m a very adventurous person and enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone.
