Q: Tell us about your high school career and what the recruiting process has been like thus far.

A: I just finished my freshman year so I’m still a young varsity hopeful, If we do have a season this coming year I’m working to make varsity. I havent been recruited yet for football but as a freshman I was a varsity starter on our lacrosse team.

Q: When did you receive your first offer and what school was it from? How many offers have you received thus far?

A: None so far but I working to have a good varsity campaign as a sophomore and to get an offer by the end of next season.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: I think making varsity lacrosse as a freshman was a big achievement in my athletic career.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at your school?

A: We have an almost all new coaching staff this year and even in the three conditioning practices we’ve had I’ve learned so much from Coach Peterson. I’ve learned about body positioning, power angles of the body, and also some life lessons. I’m excited for the upcoming season with the new coaches.

Q: What have you learned during this unique time in 2020? What did you focus on or accomplish during Quarantine?

A: I replaced the control arms, ball joints, and sway bar links on my Ford Explorer. I’ve rebuilt the top end on my dirt bike, and fished a lot. I also was lifting with family friends in a garage gym and in early June at 145lbs body weight, I squatted 335, Benched 165, and deadlifted 300.

Q: If you could play in college, what would you choose to major in? What are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A: I would major in Business and then get certified as an automotive technician, If football doesn’t work out i’ll probably follow the same route.

Q: What would your current teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: Smart, Perfectionist, Fast, Emotional, Aggressive.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career so far?

A: I ran back a punt for a touchdown after the other team failed to properly down the ball.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A:I’m known for being quick tempered and lashing out against some of my underperforming teammates. I had to tell myself that no ones perfect and that instead of taking it out on other players I needed to improve my game.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a collegiate or pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A: I’m not a huge sports fan, I don’t have the attention span to watch games but if i had to compare myself to a pro player I’d say either Christian McCaffrey or Chris Hogan. I’d say Christian McCaffrey cause I myself am a White running back to be frank or Chris Hogan because he is a Lacrosse player who plays football also.

Q: What is your biggest strength and why should college coaches & scouts consider you?

A: I’m a fast ultra competitive player who strives to be the best at anything he does.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?

A: I Volunteer with the local football league, CLYFL, which I played in when I was younger. I help coach and also help with chains at games and equipment distribution.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 High School National Scouting Combine and what are your goals for the combine?

A: I’ve been lifting and running routes with some of my teammates. I’d like to learn how to be a better receiver and Defensive back, Run a 4.8 40 yard dash and get noticed by coaches.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A: To earn a scholarship to the University of Virginia.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football? Do you play other sports?

A: I play lacrosse. I enjoy working on dirt bikes and cars. Water skiing and wakeboarding.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: My father, John Taliaferro, was an accomplished athlete so as a kid I always wanted to follow his footsteps. He always coached me in lacrosse, and coached me in football once. He gives great advice and always wants the best for me. He’s smart, unselfish, and extremely humble, all things I aspire to be.

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

A: I can do a standing backflip on the ground, I always thought that was cool. I’m good at riding dirt bikes and I also had a lazy eye as a kid.
