How’d you end up at your current school? What was the recruiting process like?

  • I got a call from the Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator, and WR’s Coach. As they were in desperate need of a Tight End. It was in a place where I have family and I was close to them so I ended up committing. The recruiting process was smooth and I built a pretty great connection with the staff and players. I just needed an opportunity so I took my shot to play my final season at OUAZ.

What gives you an advantage over other athletes at your position?

  • I would say my Physicality, Playing to my Size, and Playing with No Fear! I have a strong get off, fast off the ball, and aggressive when getting my hands on a defender. With me technically being an undersized lineman there’s no fear in me when going out to make a block in open space or moving a defender off the LOS. And an ability to understand and adapt to a playbook faster in a short amount of time.

What does being a student of a game mean to you?

  • Being a student of the game to me means the same as it is a student in the classroom. Show up, be ready to work, study, build knowledge, improve, have a positive attitude, and most importantly try to stay consistent with these steps in the process.

How does being a (Tight End) reflect itself in your personal life?

  • As a Polynesian the words “Speed”, “Physical” and “Aggressive” is very well known in sports and mandatory in our culture. As a Tight end those are the things needed in the position, so playing the position I make sure to keep that in mind and work to perfect that always.

How would you describe your work ethic?

  • My work ethic is very strong and it heavily revolves around, dedication, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset. I believe in setting high standards for myself and consistently striving to meet or exceed them.

What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff?

  • “You control your own destiny”, you take responsibility for your actions, thoughts, and the outcome. This is what makes you unstoppable.

What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

  • To be recognized as a Pro Prospect! I spent my entire life working my way to play professionally and now that I’m a step closer to making that a reality is just a blessing and humbling as well.

How did you hear about the National Scouting Combine?

  • I got an invitation message from the director of player personnel (Jay Wilson).

Why did you choose the National Scouting Combine?

  • I chose the National Scouting Combine because I feel like I have a better opportunity to showcase my talents with better quality of equipment and resources in front of top coaches and pro scouts.

What do you hope to show people at the combine?

  • That I have what it takes to be a professional. There’s no fear! My mindset going in is just to “Try my very best and be humble in what I do and how I perform”.

What was your Major?

-Sports Leadership (Coaching)

If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?

  • Giving more than what is expected. Lending a helping hand in any scenario or situation, Because it helps us on learning to be aware of what’s around us and what experiences we go through. Being a source of help can change someone’s life.

What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

  • Musically Gifted! Can sing and play instruments. Also really kind and loving!

If you had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, what sport would you choose?

  • MMA

Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or “pay it forward” in your community?

  • I do volunteer in a community service project with my teammates in the town I live in school in we read books to the local elementary school kids weekly, and coach junior high football. I like to get involve with the community as much as I can.
