Accomplishments & Impact
What would you say is your biggest accomplishment in your athletic career so far, and what did it take for you to achieve it?

I would say that my biggest accomplishment in my athletic career would be going to states last year and making varsity. It took hard work waking up in the morning before school every day working out and after school, and most importantly it took sacrifices.

Role & Identity as a Player
How would you describe your playing style, and what separates you from other athletes in your sport and your position?

I believe that I am a aggressive player especially at the offensive line at left guard. I always have the most heart on the field and I let it show every snap, play, game and in practice and I always give 100% in everything I do.

Development Curve
What is one area of your game you’ve significantly improved over the past year, and how did you develop it?

The area I most improved in is pass blocking I’m a very good at run blocking  but my pass blocking needed work, so I started training with Trenches elite and I also trained every day after school and practice to get to where I am now at pass blocking.

Adversity & Resilience
Tell us about a challenge or setback you’ve faced in your career. How did you respond, and what did you learn from it?

I broke both of my wrist last year in the very first game, and I was disappointed someone ran threw my face, and I told my self I never want to be embarrassed like that again or miss out on the sport I love because of my skill. So I trained everyday before school, after school, and after practice to get better and to make myself a better lineman. I learned that you can do anything you put your mind to, and to never let failure be your reason to quit, make it your reason to be better to get better.

Training & Preparation
What does your current training routine look like, and how are you preparing specifically for the May 30th combine?

I get up a 4:40am every day lift weights and run, then I go to school and lift during school, then I go to practice and I work out and train again after practice.

Short-Term Goals (Combine Focus)
What are your specific goals and expectations heading into this combine?

My goal is to come out to the combine and dominate and be the best that I know I can be,in front of people and show that hard work does pay off.

Long-Term Vision
Where do you see your career going over the next 2–3 years, and what steps are you taking to get there?

In the next 2-3 years I see myself being a star offensive lineman in my class, and going to play college football. Currently I am talking to the coach’s that come to our football practices and I’m posting consistently on twitter and responding to the coaches that are showing interest in me and inviting me to campes, spring games/practices, and unofficial visits.

Football IQ & Leadership
How do you contribute to your team beyond your physical performance—whether that’s leadership,

communication, or understanding the game?

I am one of our leaders on the offensive line, when someone doesn’t know the call I tell them the call and I show them how to do drills and run plays. I am also apart of the grater Raleigh kappa leauge, Top teens of America, and I’m a mentor to kids in middle school in a organization called Journey men.

Recruiting & Exposure
What are you hoping coaches and scouts take away from your performance at the combine?

I hope coaches and scouts see that hard work beats talent, there maybe people who are taller, bigger, faster, stronger, but it’s about how you preform in front of people and if you’re actually good at this game and have good technique and can be developed not just big.

Motivation & Mindset
What drives you to keep pushing and competing at a high level, especially when no one is watching?

My Mom, Uncle, God, and my future drives me to keep pushing and competing. My mom drives me because she believes in me and always encourages me to keep going. My uncle drives me because he’s done this before just like me undersized but showed coaches that he could play and went d1. God drives me because I know that he gave me this dream and this determination to make it in football and he’s always there for me. And I push myself because no one else is going to to it for me I have to do it I have to put in the work regardless of anyone watching because this is something that I want so I have to work and fight for it.
