Q: Tell us about your college career and what the recruiting/scouting process was like. Why did you choose Clarion University?

A: During my career I have been up against many obstacles that has made me who I am today, and has helped me get to where I’m at  in my career, out of high school to pick up my grades I went to Scottsdale Community College, after two years there I attended Urbana University for a quick stint. After that Coach Eger & Coach Newton gave me a opportunity to play for them at Clarion and them coaching players that have went on to play in the league so I figured it would be my best option, as well as to play in a good conference. 

 

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: My biggest accomplishment in my sports career is seeing my progress from how i began my career as a freshman in high school to where I am now. A lot of people didn’t expect me to be able to play at a high level.

 

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at (Clarion University )?

A: The most important thing I learned by this years coaching staff at Clarion is when no one believes in you believe in yourself even more.

 

Q: What was your major and what are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A: My current Plan B is to make plan A work, I also have a brand called “Show The World” where We are growing the brand by selling Merch, growing within the Sports world with Nil deals etc, we are also big in the community by partnering with a nonprofit to do events

Q: What would your current/past teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: They would say I am the ultimate competitor. They would say I’m a guy who hates to lose and is a dependable teammate that know how to make people better.

 

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career at any level?

A: One of my most memorable plays of my career is when I was at Urbana I told the team my first punt return will be a touchdown a month prior to the game, and in the first game I had a 75+ yard return on the first punt.

 

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: The biggest challenge for me was always personal but as I grow and mature I have came to realize more and more that your attitude determines your altitude.

 

Q: Who was the best player you played against during your collegiate career?

A: Omari McCauley 

 

Q: If you could compare yourself to a pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A:  I really dont compare myself to anyone because I feel I don’t play like anyone, but I  am a student of the game, I like to watch a few different people and add bits and pieces to my game and develop it into my own . Some of the few players games I like to model my self after is … Steve Smith ,Chad Johnson, Stefan Diggs, Odell Beckham, and Devante Adams is the main few guys I study.

 

Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?

A: I feel my big play making ability will bring a huge factor to any team that picks me up. I am a deep threat that can go and get it , Also I can play all specials teams and I know that is a big part of a winning Team. My competitiveness  is a also something that I bring. By any means i will get it done. Lastly I’m big in the community so I feel I can really promote positive change and growth.

 

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or ”pay it forward” in your community?

A: Yes I’m currently on the board of a Non Profit organization called “Zuri’s Circle” we are blessed enough to host charity events, community service, feed the community, gather materials and home necessities. We do a-lot of things for the community of Peoria,Arizona gratefully.

 

 

 

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football?

A: I enjoy creating and finding ways to grow my Brand.

 

Q: If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?

A: I would say I do make a positive Impact and I feel it is to inspire, and give. Treating others how you want to be treated, doing things because it’s right. That’s how you  begin the start of making a positive impact.

 

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: The most influential person in my life is my Dad.  

 

Q: What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

A: Something Unique is that I am ambidextrous 

 

Q: If you had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, what sport would you choose?

A: I would definitely play basketball !

 

Q: What is your dream job?

A: My dream job is to create business opportunities for not only myself but for those closest to me and the community while generating generational wealth.
