Q: Tell us about your high school career and what the recruiting process has been like thus far.

A: As a freshman I was starting quarterback on my freshman team. We finished 5-3 and I received the coaches award. as a sophomore I was the starting quarterback on my JV team and was the backup to a D1 commit. On JV I had a total 20 of touchdowns. I played a few different positions on varsity including offense and defense. I also received our spartan reward that was the equivalent of our mvp.

Q: When did you receive your first offer and what school was it from? How many offers have you received thus far?

A: I am yet to receive your first offer, but have faith that I will soon.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: My biggest accomplishment thus far was being named Fellowship of Christian Athletes Student Athlete of the Week. Recipients of this award are recognized for their achievements in the classroom, on the playing fields, in the community, and at home. Another accomplishment would be that I have never had a losing season as a starting quarterback. The class of 2022 Freshman and JV teams finished with the best record in years.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at your school?

A: One if the most important things I have learned from my coaching staff is that they’re not going to tell you anything wrong. Always have faith in your coach.

Q: What have you learned during this unique time in 2020? What did you focus on or accomplish during Quarantine?

A: I have learned to cherish everyday as life could change in the blink of an eye. During quarantine I focused on getting the best grades possible in order to raise my GPA.

Q: If you could play in college, what would you choose to major in? What are your plans if football doesn’t work out?

A: If I play in college I would like to major in business. If football doesn’t work out, I plan to obtain my degree from a four-year university and hope to find a profession which best allows me to utilize the skills and education I received.

Q: What would your current teammates say about you and your qualities?

A:  I believe that my current teammates would say I’m a very humble person on and off the field. I’m always willing to throw with them regardless of their skill set.

Q: What has been one of the most memorable plays of your career so far?

A:  one of my most memorable plays of my career was my first varsity touchdown. It was our first home game; my first varsity game and it was just a great experience hearing my name called in front of so many people.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: my biggest challenge right now is the uncertainty of football due to Covid-19. I was supposed to attend camps and have 7v7s to prepare for this season. I have managed it by doing extra trainings and working harder than ever before this off-season.

Q: If you could compare yourself to a collegiate or pro athlete, who would that be and why?

A: I would compare myself to Lamar Jackson because he is very versatile with his arm and legs. He is able to take over any game in any way possible and I believe that I am capable of doing the exact same.

Q: What is your biggest strength and why should college coaches & scouts consider you?

A: I believe my biggest strength is my versatility I am a dual threat quarterback. I’m able to make plays with my arm and my legs. Coaches and scouts should consider me because I have played quarterback since I was 8 years old. Running an offense is second nature to me which helps me excel at being a leader on the field.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?

A: I’m a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I also help feed the hungry with Grace Community Church.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2020 High School National Scouting Combine and what are your goals for the combine?

Q: What do you enjoy doing when not playing football? Do you play other sports?

A: I enjoy playing basketball and I am the starting point guard for our high school varsity team, When I’m not playing sports, I enjoy spending time with my friends.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: the most influential person in my life has been Michael Vick. He has been one of my favorite players since I was a toddler. I liked him as a player because of his play style and the way he impacted the game as an African American dual threat quarterback.
