Achievements:

2019 all conference KR

2022 all conference WR

How’d you end up at your current school?

Transferred in.

What was the recruiting process like?

Quite the process coming from a smaller school in Texas.

What gives you an advantage over other athletes at your position?

Always and consistently prepared for anything on all facets of the game and what comes with it.

What does being a student of a game mean to you?

Understanding things that you haven’t before about the game and always continuing to learn and visualize things from different perspectives as well.

How does being a (WR/KR) reflect itself in your personal life?

Knowing these two positions inside and out I’ve noticed that I’m able to really react to in a positive manner no matter which way it goes. Giving the circumstances at the receiver spot you never know where that ball is going to go so you have to be able to adjust on the fly. At the returner spot ruining full speed ahead you have know that one guy may escape his block and you have to make 1 miss immediately. In my life a lot have things have been thrown at me but I have been able to adjust properly and keep going with a driving force.

How would you describe your work ethic?

I do realize where I am from I have to work twice as hard to get half as far. So my work ethic is exactly where it needs to be without a doubt. The greatest thing is, it grows Everytime I step on the field and I create more love for the game.

What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff?

Toughness, Discipline, & Effort which explains the mindset that has been instilled in me. I pray the coaches continue to harp on this throughout their careers as they will inspire more athletes than they know. With these three things taken care of you will go a long way, the right way.

What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

Being able to leave another place better than how I found with the guys God placed me around by divine intervention. It feels a lot better for the long run knowing that it didn’t happen by just a single touchdown. But by a level of consistency by 120 brothas working towards one common goal at the end of the week. Which is to be 1 and 0 every week. The right way, of course.

How did you hear about the National Scouting Combine?

My marketing agents.

Why did you choose the National Scouting Combine?

It’s everything I need right now from numbers to effective coaching.

What do you hope to show people at the combine?

It’s more than what you see.

What was your Major?

Bachelors in General Studies with a concentration in Communication and Education.

Currently working on Master’s degree in Adult Education.

If you could make a positive impact on all of society what would it be and why?

Make sure everyone has a glass and to make  sure everyone sees that glass half full and not half empty.

If people see the glass half empty they will see what’s to loose. If they see the glass half full they will see what’s to gain. Having that half full mindset you will continue to think positive and grow in all the right ways.

What is something unique about you that people would find interesting?

My laugh, which is to be studied at a later date.

If you had the opportunity to play another sport professionally, what sport would you choose?

MLB

Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back” or “pay it forward” in your community?

I make sure I positively impact someone’s life at my high school in which I work at for now. Seeing the kids walk the same halls I did and going through some of the things I went through or saw growing up. You would only be selfish not to share your knowledge and get them to lean in the right direction.
